I have a 2nd 2007WFP already, shipped as a replacement for the first one. Same degree of banding on both, of course. Mention was made over at the Dell forums thread on this issue by "Chris M," a moderator, that said something about all models having this problem (post was deleted though) so I figured I should contact Dell and see whether a) they have an answer now or b) I should just return it/get another one. here's what I got:

2:07:04 PM You the monitor I received was defective, I did troubleshooting with hardware support chat and it could not be solved. dell sent me a replacement monitor which has the same problem.
