^^ Inaccurate gov't data? IMPOSSIBLE
The EPA site is also not accurate with their measurements. If you look at the same car over a couple years, the numbers vary by 6-8ft3. The 2010 CTS shows 116cf3, but whatever Mjizz shows is 110ft3. I would question using that site to make any point.
Go figure and luckily this post got me motivate enough to find the Ignore User function.
But is it one of the best vehicles you've bought period? Qualifying it as one of the best GM vehicles doesn't mean a lot to a lot of GM haters
Update to the thread. Went to buy the Caddy, and I noticed it did not come with bluetooth. Which I thought was a major fail to me. I was thinking a 30k car should come standard with that at least. Plus I use bluetooth a ton given my job. So I had to turn it down. Now I am off the caddy and accord.
I was thinking about putting myself into a used Acura TL 2004-2008. You guys have opinions on those? I know Acura is not on top of anyones stunner list. But I think you get a lot for your money.

LOL how many cars have you driven?
I've test driven the CTS - it's a fucking coffin inside.
I've test driven the Accord - it's a boat.
Now get the fuck out please.
PS - EPA classifies one as Large and one as midsize, but the CTS is like 2 cubic feet away from a compact. INSIDE, it's a FUCKING compact. :awe:

You gave up a car because it didn't have bluetooth?
Lol.

That's my thinking, it's not like it's difficult to make phone calls/etc without your car being involved in the bluetooth. However, it's his $ and prerogative.
The '04-'08 TL is a great car. It's not going to be as visceral or fun as the RWD CTS, but should be fine anyway. The audio system is outstanding. Does require premium fuel, and you'll notice it's a little smaller than the CTS, and notably smaller than the Accord. For someone not using the backseat all that much it's more than large enough for tall adults up front though. Biggest negative my brother has noted is that it eats rather expensive tires pretty quick up front if you drive even moderately aggressively.
I think a mustang with sync is the next choice.
Whatever you do, do not get the I4. It's weak and noisy and in many cases it actually gets worse MPG than the V6.I was looking at the i4 sedan in the accord. The TL I am looking at is used and believe it or not the pices are quite similar. I do agree with you though about 8k difference not being worth it. Now it is a 2k maybe 3k difference.
If I could get the 30mpg 305hp mustang for a resonable price, I would be seriously considering it. My friends who have tried to buy them said they are priced high right now. I am huge mustang fan as I had a 66' that I really loved that I had to sell last year.
The nice thing about the V6 is you have the power when you need it, and on the highway it can run on only 3 or 4 cylinders when you are cruising. In warmer weather I consistently get 27MPG average on entire tanks of gas. Now if your commute is mostly stop and go, the V6 won't make as much sense.glad you repsonded to this thread "mb" I will def stay away from that i4. It constantly had to rev high to accelerate, which would probaly mean less gas mileage. I should have taken the epa stickers a little less serious.
I wouldn't consider a car without it now, its just too useful of a feature not to have in CA because of the cellphone laws.
