Looks like a winning formula to me. It's conservatively designed so it won't offend your neighbor, good fuel economy, and it's a Toyota.

thats it ? Our 2003 Corolla (we got it in Feb 2002 - the same week it rolled out in the US) is at 200k (yes, that is 200,000 miles) mark and still going strong. No major problems so far (just regular maintainence like regular oil changes and service, brakes, tires etc etc). That reminds me, it is due for new spark plugs so that it can last another ~100k just in time for the newer corolla.

I prefer the new Camrys honestly. Pictures don't do it justice, seeing it in action is totally different. Has a very sporty look to it, all it needs is a spioler to complement the low-body (whatever you call that, there's little room between car and the ground).

still uglier than the civic. i guess its probably better than what they were going to come out with before the new civic made them think twice. toyota should probably get with the program, koreans are getting reliable, japan can't stay ugly.

Toyota's new styling is nastyIMO. They're going from boring to ugly and still boring.

The new Hondas aren't too bad though. A lot better than their Toyota counterparts.

Sounds like a lot of highway miles...still, not unimpressive

Not speaking for Toyota, but their excuse makes no sense. The Corolla and Camry are made on different sides of the continent. Unless of course they're moving some Corolla production. That could get fun.

I dont know about "bullpup", but the front end does look kind of squished in.
