I interviewed a Pacific vet who never wore a helmet. He got spooked after seeing the result of a Japanese bullet that had bounced around inside another guy's helmet.

Yeah, shit happens and sometimes you just end up in combat wearing very little. Hell, looks like there was a second guy in that photo also with no kevlar, no top, and no body armor.

A good camera doesn't automatically take amazing pictures! In fact if you place a really good one in the hands of a novice they will tend to take worse pictures than with a point and shoot.

It's the photographer that makes the picture, a camera is just his tool.

Oh shud up!!! My little Canon Powershot SD400 could not take those pictures, no matter how hard I tried. The thing is not made for images larger than 640x480 and just cannot make the colors that those do.

I wish I had the $10,000 cameras these guys had. :'( I'm a poor boy, no body loves me.

You would be shocked at what a pro could do with your little SD400. Actually if you really want to take these type of photos - use film. A 35MM SLR has a lot more resolution and these days cost a lot less than most dslrs.
