Better get it before LeBron leaves...

Leave to where? NY? NJ? Ya, I can see how he would want to take a pay cut and move from a title contender to a team that didnt make the payoffs. Keep drinking the ESPN koolaid.

It took years to build a team around him in cleveland. I dont think he would want to wait until he was 27-28 to be seriously competing again.

Not "drinking ESPN koolaid"... you're so hostile - forget your meds this morning? :disgust:

Any "pay cut" he would get from moving out of Cleveland could be more than offset in a larger market.

I don't want to see him leave Cleveland, but it seems a significant possibility, unfortunately, given his desire to be a bigger media presence. He's stated in the past that basketball is only one piece of what he want to accomplish.

I didnt forget anything. Im always this hostile.

The media goes to LeBron, not the other way around. What exactly does he accomplish from living in NY that he cant accomplish living in Bath OH? If you want him to promote your brand then you go to him. Its not like he needs to go out and find his own deals they come to him. He becomes even more marketable (if thats possible) by winning a championship. He has a greater chance of doing that quicker in cleveland than in NY or NJ. Even if he wants to do other things he has to make it bigger in basketball first. He will be staying in cleveland and the only reason anyone is talking about this anymore is because the media want some drama to talk about.

I really hope the Spurs beat the Mavs cus I really dislike the Mavs. I hope Duncan takes this summer to rest since his knees are so bad and he can be well rested for the new season and Ginobili.......well I don't know. He's injury prone but when he's healed he's one of the best out there but he's just going to get older so healing is just going to get worse for him. Maybe the Spurs should cut him loose and get some fresh meat for him.

Great shot by Iguodala at the end. The Magic layed down in the 4th quarter when they should have been slamming the door shut. Cost 'em.

it was a crazy ass fourth q. If orlando responds properly and they come to play wed. they will be ok. If they keep playing like they did tonight though Its going to be an easy walk for cleveland to the finals.

Remeber though that Orlando has some of their key guys injuired so MAYBE if they beat Orlando, they are going to get beat in the second round.

Only Jameer Nelson is out and Rafer Alston has picked up a lot of his slack. Can't fault the guards or Jameer's injury. Can't fault the Magic either for the loss, except they didn't shoot their season percentage from the floor and Philly went beyond theirs. The Sixers' 3-point percentage was %0.583 as well. Close to 6 of 10 from the arc. That's way beyond what they normally shoot. iow, Philly had a fantastic game yet still only won on a last second shot.

If they can play the remainder of their games against the Magic at that level, they deserve to win.

I was too busy with the Flyers game today, but I just saw that the Sixers shocked Orlando with a few seconds to go.

Awesome. I'm hoping both teams can steal a series.

Turky-glue had a sprained ankle and Lewis was out for a couple weeks with tendinitis so you can guarantee neither of them are at 100%. Sucks they couldn't get any more rest but they gatta play for the playoffs.

I completely agree. I think there is almost NO chance he will leave his home of cleveland. This is a kid that never ventured out to get into trouble when younger, he's not going to venture out of being a rock star in his back yard to give flailing NY something they don't deserve, just to make a few more gatorade bucks.

The most important thing for him staying has probably been whether or not the cavs can build a championship contender around him, and they've done that (it appears). Besides, any star in the league would love to play next to him, so the prospects of continuing to build the team is awesome.

I think the chances of Lebron leaving cleveland is about the same as Duncan leaving San Antonio, and barring any major fallout with management, that's just not going to happen.

I haven't been following the Nuggets this year. I didn't know they picked up the slam dunk flunkee. Last I remember him he was sporting the long haired jesus look and couldn't keep his hands off the ganja. No clue he was back in action. Just checked his stats and he put up 175 blocks this year. That's not quite as good as a healthy Camby that they gave up...but it's still pretty damn good.

Camby averaged 3.6 BPG in 34+ minutes per game last season.

Anderson average 2.5 BPG in 20+ minutes per game this season.

I'd call that a push.

I think you mean 2.5 BPG, but point still taken...

He's still got all the hair gel, and maybe another 10 ultra colorful tats, but also still has his hops. He's one of those electrifying energy guys that won't carry the team but will get the crowd out of their seats with a sick weakside block from nowhere, lol.
