Kobe was the difference. Clutch.
No, Denver's mistakes were the difference. Poor throw in on the last ball, missed free throws, and other mistakes all lead to letting the Lakers barely win it.
True, but Kobe was still clutch.
So was Chauncey.
George Karl wasn't.
Oh, and on the Lakers possession with ~ 30 sec left (after the Ariza steal of the inbounds), you have to foul. Kobe wound up driving to the rim and getting fouled with 10 sec left, IIRC. Everyone knew that Kobe would drive, because he's almost guaranteed a foul call and FT's. Denver needed to foul early to extend the game, allowing LA to shoot FT's while Denver shoots 3's. And also, maybe some other Laker winds up shooting FT's, and misses.
