Lakers' Free Throw Defense is rather decent in this game too

Actually, as good as Howard is, he isn't (yet) in the LeBron/Wade/Kobe league. Melo isn't in that league because his defense isn't as good, his jumper isn't as reliable, and he isn't the ball distributor those guys are. Also, he hasn't come anywhere close to making the Finals. Maybe these playoffs will be Melo's coming-out party.

hmm ya true. I've always thought he was a very awesome player to watch. I remember a few years ago, he made all kinds of clutch shots during the season. I thought then, that that was his coming out party. Ya, Howard isn't there yet, but I forsee him coming out very soon (even as soon as this playoffs)

But honestly, my heart says, PLEASE MELO, DON'T HAVE A COMING OUT PARTY YET!! GO LAKERS!!

gaahh! C'mon lakers.. I hope they come out of the gates a bit more in control in the 2nd half.

If Howard can develop a 10' - 15' jumper in the next couple of years, watch out.

Melo is a great player. What he's missing is that perception of being the alpha male on the team. LeBron, Kobe, Wade, and even Howard (somewhat and almost) are the alpha males on their respective teams.
