I'm curious as to the rationale for renewing and then canceling before you even air the first renewed episode...

Forget entertainment, you get Leno every night.
The program has the format of a variety show, a creature that was virtually extinct decades ago, even before cable and the Internet. And there?s a halting, clanking quality to it so far; if the show had an intermission, you might exchange a look with your date that said, ?Should we leave? Do you want to leave? Let?s leave.?

What I don't get about the whole Leno show is that it was way better when it was on at the later slot, I don't know what the reason is but it seems odd that it's all the same people (on screen at least) yet something seems off and lost.
Maybe the writers didn't come with him?

RIP Dollhouse, cancellation announced today.
but in happier news, Southland was picked up by TBS.
couldn't have happened to a better network, dirtbags.
on related news, along with eastwick getting axed, hank just joined it as outgoing except they aren't even going to air any more hank eps. For those following for eureka, except for the one chick having a couple spots in criminal minds all the eureka actors have had their shows canceled
