What are they going to replace them with? More crap? 4-hour nightly American Idol or Survivor marathons? Fuck! :|

RIP

Life, Reaper

The Unit, Better Of Ted and Chuck I would really miss as well.

The only shows on that list that I'd miss are Reaper and Chuck. Actually, add in Better off Ted too, that one has potential.

Better Off Ted is hilarious! I have no clue about the ratings though, I haven't read too much about it after it premiered.

As for NBC's problems - they have to deal with the fact that they will soon only have two hours of programming Monday-Friday thanks to Leno taking up the 10PM spot. Am I correct in saying this?

I didn't see anything on the front page about life being canned. (Which must be the reason nbs has run 3 hours of l&o repeats since the life finale.

It also said kings did bad in ratings last weekend, I didn't realize it was on. When I went to set the dvr the guide said they were doing a miss america thing followed by the apprentice.

Kings was moved to Saturday nights... except NBC didn't promote or advertise the change at all.

Lol, good job there. And a move to saturday probably is a signal that it's gone.

Guess no reason to watch what I missed online.

That Zoe character has actually been in quite a few movies so far too... saw her in Ping Pong Playa, Fired Up! and some other movie that I can't remember.

Ugh. There are plenty of other NBC shows to can other than Chuck... Heroes for example.

Yep, nbc will be down to 10 hours of weekday primetime programming once the nose takes over. They've already go their 2 hour comedy block on thursday, so southland (or whatever the eventually "er" replacement along with heroes makes 4 hours. Toss in the 3 l&o and you've got 7 hours done. Only leaves 3 hours left to program, one of which will be a fall only slot as FnL will take the spring side, that only leaves 2 hours. If Life and Chuck don't get cancelled, programming's done.

The big problem here (by network standards) is virtually no new programming to create buzz and what not (of course totally due to them throwing away the 10oclock hour to the nose.

Of course I shouldn't complain, with this my dvr should have a really easy time in the future. Nothing on at 10 on nbc to record, abc is doing so much female centric programming I can count the shows I watch there with one hand and have several fingers left over, and fox just barely manages to pick up the rest of those digits.

Better Off Ted reminds me a bit of Arrested Development in its humor (although it might just be because the sister from AD is in it). It could be pretty good but definitely has not had enough time to develop properly.

The only shows I watch are The Office (US version) and Top Gear (UK version) which I get online. I don't even know what the rest of those shows are about.

basically. it's probably safe to assume that their friday line-up won't change, saturday will be a dumping ground for reruns, and sunday will be football all fall, so you're looking at 8 hours of programming. 6 if Thursday stays the same (Earl may or may not get canceled but would presumably be replaced by a cheap half-hour comedy).

heroes, medium, and the biggest loser are probably a lock to return, so now you're down to 2 hours assuming they keep TBL as a 2 hour show.

between chuck, kings, and southland, it's safe to assume that 2/3 will be canceled if not all 3 outright, depending on what NBC's pilots are looking like.

I've always wondered why Earl stayed on so long. I like it and watch it, but it hasn't been nearly as funny since the first season. Although this past week's episode was a bit better than most.

Its a great show but it does not have that much exposure especially being on Sunday night. Also the fact that its not on each week is horrible.
Yeah us Unit fans have been worried this season about not getting a renewal for season 5. It almost seems like CBS doesn't give a crap about the show even though it has performed decently. They moved it from Tuesday at 9pm to Sunday at 10pm? I stay up well past that but a lot of people I talk to at work are in bed at that time. There are tons of one or two week breaks between episodes too, like last night, which don't help.

I'm a little disappointed with most of season 4 compared to the rest, but it is still my favorite show on TV.

If you are a fan of the show you should all write in to the comment section on CBS and simply say you watch it and hope to see it renewed, especially if you stream it, which I don't think is included in their numbers.

I am going to be pretty pissed if "Life" is indeed cancelled. I think it is one of the better written shows on T.V. with a great mix of humor and drama.

I've been watching "Better off Ted" and I think that has great potential; I've been laughing my ass off watching it and the only other show that has really done that for me has been "Scrubs."

I caught the episodes of "Kings" online, and while I was entertained I could care less about the show.

Well of the shows that were canceled I don't watch any so nothing lost there.

A few on the fence I will miss though if they fall.

I'm glad they are bringing PB to a conclusion. It has really gotten far away from its beginnings. It is better a show come to a conclusion than just disappearing and leaving everyone hanging.

Fringe is doing well which is good since I really think it is a somewhat unique take on the xfiles type show.

Dollhouse - not really sure on this one, don't really care if it goes but would prefer it stay.
terminator - I like the show, but concerned with the low viewers and it is probably a expensive show to produce with all the effects.

I see Will Smith is doing a scifi channel show soon. Hope he can bring something redeeming back to the channel.

They are showing Primeval on scifi now. I've seen them all but it will have a third season. It is a very well done show.

I just want the damn reality shows to go away.
I liked to watch tvland. Now even they are going to damn reality shows.
