None of the daily deals were low enough so I got Trauma, Mata Hari, Nexus : Jupiter Incident and Velvet Assassin.
I don't recall them ever going past their advertised sale dates, so I would be surprised to see a recap tomorrow.
You're right, the 27th (today) is the last day of the sale. I thought it went through the 28th with that being Cyber Monday and all.
so, Divinity II is pretty good? that's the only thing that interests me, though I know nothing about it.
it looks to be one notch above RPG-lite and a bit hack-and-slashy? Sort of what I'm looking for.
i enjoyed it; i think it is two steps above hack and slash but not quite as undirected as bethesda rpg. I'd put it on par with witcher 2; where the direction (player path) is very clear but it is free roaming. The mechanics are a bit better than witcher 2 (I think) but lacks some of witcher 2 elegance.

sort of like Fable, but a bit more "serious?"
Meh, I'll give it a shot. I both like and loathe the Bethesda games, all because they are too free. Doesn't play well with my game-ADD.
Section 8: Prejudice is awesome. Why the fuck aren't more people playing this game? :hmm:
Based on the video and description it looks INCREDIBLY stupid and uninspired.

But, for 3.74, I think I could experiment.
I've heard that the Witcher starts out really slow, or boring, but gets better. Like the first act or chapter sucks, then the 2nd things really start to pick up. I've not played it at all.
Played about 1.5hrs of The Witcher and voice acting isn't that great. Not bad but not good. Sometimes it'll go into a cut-scene for just one or two lines of dialogue. Combat is interesting, feels like it'll take some getting used to. I'm going to give this game more time to see if it gets better because of how much praise it got.

I will be spamming my left click and Geralt just does not swing. He just stands around in that stupid looking sword pose he does.
It does not work that way. You need to time clicks precisely to launch combo attacks. To do that.. you need to keep an eye on the enemy you are targeting.. the icon on your enemy changes to attack mode. You can perform a string of attacks if you click at the precise time.
