Hmmm is fleet command an unlisted daily deal? one of the achievements is for that game along with psychonauts

The map is called "Comissar's House".

Allies are on offense, so join them, and cap a territory. That's it. You won the prize.

Of course, you should stay and keep playing. RO2's community needs more people.

The Witcher 1 is my favorite RPG ever. Of course, that's just me; you'll find people who love it, and people who hate it. If you want a mature, adult-oriented RPG with a very deep, engaging storyline, interesting characters, and a complex morality system, then by all means, buy it.

And of course the Witcher 2 is also pretty damn awesome. Worth the $50 I payed for it on release.

Yeah, I bought Witcher 1 during last year's Holiday sale for $4.99 and thought I'd got a good deal (and I still did). I started Witcher 1 this summer, played it for a week and realized that it was a game that was really going to require commitment to fully enjoy. During the summer I'm out doing other stuff and don't have a lot of time to play video games. That sporadic commitment just wouldn't do the game justice. As soon as I finish ME2 (probably this weekend), I'm going to dive in to Witcher 1.

But now that I see it on sale for only $2.49......I wish I would have waited to buy it!

Moral of the story.....don't buy more games than you can play in a year because they'll probably be even cheaper during next year's Holiday sale. Can't wait....three years from now Battlefield 3 will probably be $4.99!

Why do they have so many ninja daily deals? Psychonauts for example $2.49. Of course, maybe it's a typo that it's called a daily deal, I did not look at Psychonauts yesterday. Also, how far into the game do you have to play for the 2 different kinds of roast achievement?

How do you think the witcher compares to skyrim?

I haven't played Skyrim yet, so I can't make a direct comparison. But I do know that TES games like Skyrim and Oblivion are more open-world and exploration oriented. The Witcher is much more linear, yes; but it has absolutely phenomenal writing, dialog, and characters, which can't be said about TES games.

I personally can't play Oblivion because it's just so boring and unengaging. The characters are all cardboard and the storyline is incredibly generic.

Play Witcher for story. I'd even go as far as to say the combat is better in The Witcher than in TES. You're not running backwards from enemies and endlessly waving your sword around, hoping it hits.

Darn, just got Tropico 4 CD from Amazon for $15.99, now it's on Steam as a daily achievment and selling for $13.59, and looks like the CD can't be activated on Steam.

You know, I have to say, I preordered RO2 and didn't really like it. But after having been playing BF3, I like it better than I did. I still don't like it, but a lot closer to it. Of course, I don't really like BF3 is either, it's a matter of no viable alternative. Point being, that's how restrictive BF3's movement and aiming is, that it's good practice for RO2 which actually admits it's closer to realism.

Good catch on Psychonauts! It is my girlfriends all time favorite game, she bought a backwards compatible PS3 on ebay just so she could play it again. I think I'm going to buy a copy for myself and one to gift to her.

I think I'm finally going to give Recettear a try also.

I am going to say no. I got it for $10 awhile back and it's horrible.

I don't think the devs played any other pc games the entire time it was in production because it plays like a shitty budget FPS from the 90s.

Which is a shame cuz it wasnt even made by 3D Realms. It was picked up and shat out on short notice.

BUT, I have noticed it fit the trend. Whenever a game is horrendously delayed it usually sucks ass by the time we get it. Anybody remember Stonekeep?

Considering it is Capcom, close to 0. They don't like to put their games on sale for anymore than 50% off unless they are trying to sell a lesser version of a game than they will go cheaper.

I'd like SF4AE to be like 75% off too, hell, I'd take 66% off

Managed to get Portal 2 for $7.50 last night. Making good games like this affordable is one of the best weapons publishers have against piracy.

Diggle Nog is Diggle egg, grog, and aqua vitae. If you start as pirate and alchemy you'll spawn with grog, aqua vitae, and the alchemical kit. Then just go find a diggle egg and craft the nog for a quick achievement. I earned a chunk of coal makes up for the free game I started with I guess.
