Nice Skyrim deal. I'm about 120 hours in now and still at least 30 hours from finishing it "all" - compare this to Oblivion where I "only" put in 80-ish by the time I felt I was done.

Nothing really interesting me. Hope they have some sort of deal on CoD: MW3. Not sure I'd pay $40 since all I want is the SP though...

Yeah I was hoping for Skyrim and MW3 25% or more off. Got it with Skyrim, but really I don't expect to see MW3 even 10% off. Black Ops is still $60 normally (although currently 25% off). No way they're gonna put MW3 at the price that BO is.

Which really stinks cause I love the singleplayer on MW games. I also like the multiplayer but not real into it anymore so mostly I'd be getting MW3 for the SP (and if it has any spec ops mode).

Yeah it's pretty good. Just don't go into it expecting a traditional Splinter Cell game.

Also, it plays best with an Xbox 360 controller.

Well, $40 for skyrim is a better deal than I thought they would offer for Xmas. I was thinking we'd see it for only $48-$50 due to sales being so good. Forgot to check Steam today. Hopefully the sale is still on when I get home from work tonight. I tend to miss out on things when doing shift work.

Thanks. Yeah I heard some people not like it because it was more action and less stealth, but to me it sounds like a good combo of stealth and action (so its not too slow). And I do have a 360 controller so I could use it. I read it was a pretty easy and short campaign especially with the kb+mouse. But overall sounds pretty awesome for $6.24.

Hey just a warning about doing the Crimecraft achievement - there's a glitch.

I did it yesterday and won a copy of Company of Heros. A short time later, my son tried to get the Crimecraft achievement but despite earning it in the game it would never show up in his inventory. We share the same computer. My account is an Admin account (Win 7). His is restricted. Well it wiped out my achievement and my gift :-(

The wiki has been updated to report this glitch.

So I ran Steam as admin this morning and we both got the achievement....but this time I got a coupon :-(

Probably not many of you sharing a computer out there so this won't apply, but just in case.....be warned.

Well, if the game content remained exactly as is, it would drop, even if the percentage didn't drop, because the normal list price of Space Marine will eventually go down. Red Faction Armageddon will eventually go to $19.99 from $29.99, and so on. In fact they'd probably have to amend the % discount to be lower in order to keep it as high as $50.

This is why I'm focusing on game content changes. They could take out Company of Heroes and whatever else got cheap and replace it with whatever new game(s) they might have released between now and then.

I always hate it when games activate any input device that they detect. It startled me quite a bit when the vehicle crashed in Hard Reset and my 360 controller (that's sitting on top of my tower) vibrated like crazy!

I do like how Jamestown lets you choose which device, but let me say... using the mouse to control the ship is pretty awful! Shmups are a pretty blood pressure raising genre to begin with, the last thing I need is to blame my mouse for dying.

Holy crap, Modern Warfare 3 is actually on sale. I think I've entered the Twilight Zone!

You shoulda bought NV when it was onsale during Thanksgiving sales, you could buy the entire NV game + dlc for under $15 (game was $5)

Was able to do it easy in multiplayer. Got an assassin's creed deluxe 50&#37; off. Maybe that will come in handy if I don't get it during a daily deal and get it later, does anyone know if by chance these things are on daily deal after christmas, will they work?...I keep not even getting coals, now I have valve 50, valve golden 50, garry's mod 75, gemini rue 50(on my wish list so if I dont get during christmas maybe later), and meridian 4 33%.

From the reviews I've seen I suspect it's some of both. I recently ordered it for about $9 on sale, causing the current sale of $7.49 on Steam.
