2011 Steam Holiday Sale DEAD!

Anyone played any of the PoP games? I played Sands of Time and really enjoyed it. I'm curious about the other titles.

I didn't get anything the past couple of days and I'm tempted to get the Gothic pack today. I may also get the Jedi Knight Collection for my son. When you buy a pack as a gift do you have to gift the whole pack or can you pick and choose? I'm thinking it's the former.

What did they change? I did one new achievement today and I got a Prototype 66% off; and two free copies of the Ship suddenly appeared. Not sure how that happened.

I'm talking about the first one on the list which is always 'free' (you don't have to buy/own any games, or it's a free game). Today you'll get the gift by making a recommendation from one of the games that you own.

The storyline of at least the first one seems intriguing...I have a feeling it's going on my wish list.

For every game I buy, another one seems to go on wish list. Can't get it reduced!

As for the 2 free copies of the ship. A new company purchased the game and to get the player population back up, they gave 2 free copies to everyone that bought/buys it before the steam sale ends. The people that get your 2 free copies get 1 copy to give away also.

If you want to be lazy, you can just recommend the same game as all the previous times by copying your recommendation text, deleting the recommendation, and creating it again.

I'm impressed and annoyed at the same time that MSRP for Black Op is still $60, and that Steam is not giving us a better deal than 50%......

I'd be blaming Activision for that. They stubbornly do not lower the price on the COD games for at least 2-3 years. I don't think MW1 hit a sub $20 price until the Christmas sale last year.

I received Sands of Time with a video card purchase. I really enjoyed that game. Combat is pretty basic, but the puzzles are interesting and the action is awesome. Graphics were better than I expected too. Had I purchased for $2.49, I wouldn't be disappointed at all.

But then again, I thought the movie put out by Disney was good too, so you may not want to trust my opinion

Is that too much? I've been wanting to play this game but not sure if its worth $20...

It should be noted that AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!! for the Awesome is currently on sale for $2.49. I'm picking it up, seeing as I really enjoyed the first one, and it has a christmas achievement too.

Much as I hate to say it, this sale needs to end. Money is drying up lol. I want the Gothic bundle but it cost a little too much right now haha
