Thanks for taking one for the team...

I came back to this thread an hour after asking about the legitimacy of the site, and went to order but saw they were out of stock of keys.... digital keys seems like a commodity you don't run out of.

I've seen it happen to other sites like Green Man Gaming. Apparently, they just get the keys in batches from Steam. So, if they run out of keys, they have to ask Steam for more (whether that entails paying more, I have no idea how it works exactly).

I got a quick response back. I most likely got caught in the limbo of having the thing in my cart, but during checkout they ran out so that's why I have no key. They should be getting more in tomorrow or at least soon so I'll get it then, but I also had the option of a refund. I'm sticking with waiting for the key so it all should be good.

2. Apps and Websites --> Edit settings
3. Apps you use --> Edit settings
4. Steam --> click the 'x' all the way to the right and 'remove Steam'
5. Profit!

I stumbled across the Steam forums last night. I'd never really paid attention to them. But if you want some giggles and grins spend a few minutes in the Steam Trading forum right now.

Insane.

People trading 1 coal for a coupon, coupons for coupons, games for coal, coal for games, etc., etc., etc.

Some of the users' lnventories linked there are crazy.....hundreds of coupons and coals in one account.

I'm gonna laugh at them when my 6 pieces of coal wins me the grand prize!

Yeah, you missed out man. Amazon had it for $10 last weekend and it's a Steamworks game so it activates no prob. I thought it was still on sale on Amazon for like $16 though, but maybe i'm wrong about that..

How's LOTR: War in the North?

I liked it. It's a fun hack and slash RPG, slightly similar to the Two Towers and Return of the King games from the xbox/ps2.

You run around and kill things, a lot of things. Then you pick up loot, run to the next spot, rinse repeat for about 10 hours. You can then play through again, with the same or different characters, the combat stays fun, and is very different on each character. Steam tells me I got 21 hours out of it. So I don't regret my preorder. Definitely best played with friends. I don't think I could have gotten a second playthrough out of it solo.

Assuming you mean Human Revolution, it has been on sale quite a number of times (and places). It was even on sale before it was released. It's a very good game despite some extremely annoying interface issues.

Achievement farming on multiple accounts. People were buying the Humble Indie Bundle hundreds of times over, by paying only a penny each. They fixed that by raising the minimum price to a dollar.
