Hoard is 65 metacritic but looking at the screens I have to ask anyway...fun?

I looked at the metacritic, and it seems that at least PC Gamer's harsh review was because of bugs. Bugs hopefully get ironed out, so it might be a decent game now.

as for GTA games, hell I got Vice City during the Black Friday sale just to drive around listening to 80s music. It actually sounds more exciting while doing that than listening to the raw music...

I wish we could get a first person shooter GTA...not this third person/quasi-overhead stuff.

Wow this Aaaa for the Awesome game is a huge pain. I think I'm on stage 5 right now and I've got 4 stars on each of the previous ones, but this one's got a bajillion obstacles and it's not too easy!

Thank baby Jesus, I'm finally done with that achievement! I took the easy route on the 5th stage and just released my parachute early at about 180 kisses, because my 4 thread the needles + other points gave me enough to hit ~220k, which is what you need for 4 stars.

Well worth it. Its a really fun game. A bit short yes but the real enjoyment comes from multiplayer. Sadly not many seem to be playing it anymore.

Still, I wouldnt hesitate to pick it up at that price.

I found it started off fun but quickly became bored with it. Its a fun little game, it just didnt happen to hold my attention for too long.

I broke down and bought it too. Pretty big game (14GB), I can see why it had to use 3 discs on the Xbox 360. Hopefully it's worth the hard drive space. I'm excited to play it.

Pretty sure you can. I've never saved something as a gift that I didn't own, but when they gave me Beat Trip Runner, there was an "Unpack Gift" option.

Okay, I just tested it by buying Rochard, and there is an Unpack Gift option for the ones that you purchase and store.

I was thinking that during sales like this, it might be a good idea to buy things as gifts that you unpack when you actually play, that way if you get something one day, and then somehow you get a pack with that game later, you can at least trade it or something.

Not much today though LA Noire is tempting.

The counter (currently 16 hours) seems to indicate there is still another day of deals. I hope so! I didn't do enough damage, though really I have tons of games from years ago to play still. So far I've only gotten:

Splinter Cell Conviction Deluxe
Deus Ex HR + Tactical Enhancement + Explosive Mission DLC
CoD MW3 (though this was from Amazon for $35 the same day it was on sale @ Steam)


And that's it! I bought Fallout New Vegas during the Thanksgiving sale. Thinks I'd like to see tomorrow:

Skryrim (stupidly passed up on it for $40)
Off-Road Drive (lol, for $5 I'd get it)

If FO3 + DLC was super cheap again (I know I just missed it) I might get it since I like FO New Vegas so much. Also would maybe get Red Alert 3.

A coupon for 50% off a Vavle game is pretty much worthless at the moment, since every Valve game is currently 50% off or more.

Still it could be worse. He could've gotten the 7th peice of coal and then crafted it in to a 50% off Valve coupon. Or if was really unlucky a 25% off one. Each pieice of coal at least gives a chance at winning the big prizes.
