King's Bounty Platinum Edition for $6.99 is an awesome deal. Both The Legend and Armored Princess were a lot of fun.
It's absolutely nothing like the first one. Like so different they shouldn't have named it FarCry at all. Crytek sold the rights to Ubisoft after the first one. The engine was pretty impressive, especially the realtime spreading fire, but the gameplay around it is pretty terrible. There are these "outposts" that serve as checkpoints while driving, the problem is that they are full of bad guys that you have to kill first, and they respawn after like 5 minutes. So a usual mission involves driving somewhere, having to kill a bunch of guys in order to save, driving to the actuall mission desitation, then having to drive back through the same checkpoint and killing the guys again. Or dying and respawning right inside the checkpoint and getting shot up.I really liked the first one. Is the sequel that bad that it's not even worth it at that price?

If Jamestown was lesser I'd go for it. I really like 2D shooters, I'm just not very good at them. Lol.

More noobs without mics and who dont understand the concept of "teamwork", just what we need.
The left 4 dead 1 & 2 community can always use more people

Everyone needs to buy killing floor!
I would if I had more friends.
Yup. Tossing those $5 to a hobo would be a better investment.I really liked the first one. Is the sequel that bad that it's not even worth it at that price?

I got it as a gift last year, installed, waited like forever in some lobby, got matched with some random douches, didn't have any fun, uninstalled. Should I try it again?Sweet, looks like we will have some more L4D2 players soon.

I like teamwork but I'm not too fond of using the mic, is it really that important?

One thing I like about them is you have one roaming hero, no home castle(s) to defend, and no cheating enemy AI that is ever-increasing its armies faster than you.Just perused the King's Bounty wikis and those games sound kind of cool. Have not played a game like that in ages.
Ok, guess I'll skip FarCry 2.

FarCry 2 gets a bad rap, but personally I liked it. A good game for just messing around and killing some dudes. I also really like the health system, and gun wear system they implemented.
