Neverwinter Nights 2 platinum is a great deal for $6.79 but I already have it.
Dead Space 1+2 for $20 is tempting but I have a huge backlog of shooters so I can wait and buy it for $10 in some future sale, along with Duke when it hits $5
How's Neverwinter Nights 2? I've been trying to get through Risen, just can't get into it or care about the story.
It's good, people claim the original campaign is a little weak but I thought Obsidian did a decent job. It has the Bioware/Obsidian standards of a party (with banter and their own side quests), a real story, interesting settings. Like most Obsidian games the ending is a little weak.
(A party that has personality makes a story-based RPG much more interesting to me. I was playing the first Drakensang for awhile but got bored by it -- ho-hum story, companions with no personality, and a "different" combat and magic system that I don't think works as well as D&D.)
The Mask of the Betrayer campaign is also a good, long story with some interesting twists. I haven't played Zehir yet but it sounds like more of a hack and slash like Icewind Dale.
You also get access to fan-created modules for it, but when I last looked into that (over a year ago) there was nothing like the quantity and quality of the modules for NWN 1.
