But there is no way to actually buy it.. everything is just greyed out at checkout.

For whatever reason, when you get to the checkout screen, click on the game title again. It will take you back to the game page. Check PC download and standard and add to the cart again. This time the checkout page will be fine and you can confirm your purchase. Not sure why you have to do it twice.

Ick, physical media! With the exception of Universe at War, I have repurchased all 6 games of which I own physical media on Steam. That way I don't have huge, nerdy looking shelves in my house, and I don't have to swap disks around.

well looks like I calculated a bit wrong, ended up with 39 tickets and only needed 36. Had nothing I owned to redeem the last item on, so was decided between the last voices quest or the mini game for dwarfs and decided to go with the dwarf thing. Still had several games I own I could have worked on to get 3-6 more tickets if the event would have gon on longer, but would have just been picking among the last couple things blindly at that point to use them.

LOL, that's the good think about having a 30mb connection. If the server' arn't overloaded I can download just about anything in 2 hours. Time to get this new system built so I can use the old one to fold 24/7.

King's Bounty Collection, and just now 20 minutes before it ends the two DLCs for Fallout: NV.

For anyone that missed it, Amazon is selling Civ5 for $19.95 right now. Civ5 is a steamworks game, so you'll be able to register it on Steam.

I managed to purchase Plants vs Zombies, and Defense Grid. Not sure why PvZ is rated higher than Defense Grid though. DG is way better.

I missed the daily deal for the last two, but after I played the demo I really licked them and so bought them. I could've saved $15 more dollars (Retribution is 7.5 on Amazon) if I was more careful, but I still bought pretty good games.

Looking back over the sale, I still think ME + ME2 for like $12 is the overall winner.

That's just a monster deal for two great games. A perfect Summer project for someone who hasn't played them.
