Just for a better Internet? No. i live in a great rural place with a lot of land and privacy that i picked for myself years ago. Ideal for a writer.Ever think about moving?
Some games are better priced on Amazon's own Summer Sale: http://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.htm...cId=1000701371
Fack.
Borderlands still not working.
Uninstalled. Restarted system. Reinstalled.
No go.
Am gonna swear soon if things dont improve.
AMD CPU? I've got the same issue on one of my old PCs that my son uses. My main PC runs an Intel chip, and Borderlands runs fine.

Is it possible to activate BF Bad Company 2 from amazon on steam?
Nope. You should be able to activate it on Origin though. Even with a steam copy you'll need to make an EA account.
If you wait they might put a package deal on Steam for the entire bc2 package. bc2, bc2:vietnam, and the specact kit.

Impulse Driven is also having a sale: http://impulsedriven.com/impulsebuysAwesome - D2D and Amazon with sales as well in case you didn't pull the trigger with STEAMS 1 day sales.
A very subjective question here but...what minimum Metacritic rating is high enough that you don't feel the need to check other reviews(like IGN, Gamespot et al)and will make your purchase decision based just off what it shows on Steam? 80?
Well I already have an EA account, so that's no issue. I just don't like how Origin only allows you to download for 1-2 years (can't remember how long) and then no more. So if you buy a new computer and can't move the files without messing up the registry you are done with the game.
Picked up Racettear.
Best 5 Dollars I've ever spent. (Along with Mount and blade of course).
I was really looking forward to a cartoony RPG that didn't require much of a time investment. As I'm writing a dissertation and don't need to get sucked too far down the black hole of gaming.
Good Recommendation!

Got it for my wife's UL80VT running Win7-64 bit . . ..
It is buggy; sound does not work, the 3D graphics do not fill in properly, (not a bug but) no mouse controls . . ..
Ugh.
I'm pretty sure that doesn't apply anymore. I remember someone asked about that on their facebook page. They said it used to be true but not the case anymore.
Q: Will my game download ever expire?
A: Digital download rights remain available for at least one year after purchase. Origin typically doesnt retire games, and weve only retired around 10 of the 150 games we sell, and these have generally been because of the expiration of licensing rights. If you come across an issue, simply contact Origin Help and we'll reconfigure things for you.
