2012/2013 NHL Playoffs thread

A little playoff history between the Habs and the Senators. They have played 4 times before and historically are 2-2, so this is a tie breaker series. Now, it has been a little while since they last played each other ....

But the sharks are douches. Not nearly as big of douches as the Ducks, but douches none the less.

I guess in the end I'll cheer for the West's 2nd biggest douche team over the West's #1 bitch team.

I say west as there could very well be some Eastern teams to challenge them on those rankings.

Boy Thornton sure is an impressive specimen of a man up close and in person.

Thought we could win that one after surviving the first period, then finally making some progress in the second to penetrate the wall in the neutral zone. Of course Kassian had to be an idiot and let that extremely impressive power play go to work. It was all down hill after that.

I wish the Sedins would shoot more. They both, at different times, were wide open slightly off from the front of the net, with nobody around them, and neitehr of them shot. Both of them looked to pass and it was infuriating because the only option at that point was to shoot.

I'm not one of those "shoot, shoot" guys always yelling at the players, but in a situation like that you have to to take the shot. :\

My expectations for the Sharks are lower this year, so hopefully they do better than normal (usually seems to work that way in terms of how I feel and the way that the bay area sports teams perform in the playoffs and when it counts).
