I'm rooting for Boston, but luckily (or unluckily ), I'm a Tampa fan. Thus, I have no investment in either team.

That said, last night was a fun game to watch. I did feel bad for the goalies. I felt that Rask didn't get his usual great support from Boston's defense.

Here is my takeaway from last night's game:

- the Hawks were finally willing to work harder in the Bruin's end and get some traffic in front of the net and were rewarded for it.

- Crawford was uncharacteristically terrible last night. 2 or 3 of the Bruin's goals last night were ones he should have had easily but whiffed on. The one that went off the glass, top of the net, and then dropped right in front of the net was a really lucky bounce for Boston and probably the only one that he really had no chance on.

- Bruins fans chanting CRAW-FORD when their goalie has given up just as many if not more goals (this game) is just stupid.

After the last 2 or 3 periods of game 2 and game 3 I honestly thought the Hawks were done for. It seemed like they were giving no effort and were struggling to keep up with what looked like a far superior Bruins team. Last night it looked like they actually cared and had some jump. If the Hawks are willing to play the way that they did last game (throw pucks on the net and get traffic in front of Rask) I think they could win in 6. Crawford has shown throughout the playoffs that he can make the saves that he whiffed on last night so I wouldn't expect another performance like that from him.

Does anyone know why Leddy sat most of the game last night? If he was in the doghouse I'm surprised that Q didn't swap him and Oduya as the game went on. If he was injured, why was he still on the bench?

I only watched the first period in that game, so i missed a lot of the scrummy stuff obviously. I cannot be outraged when i didn't know that happened, lol.
ShitLOL!

You made those posts about that scrum based on the first 20 minutes of the game you saw and a three second gif?!?!

You got me. Nice troll job.

Sitting in the Black Rose bar in Boston watching the Bruins hopefully lose the game.

Moved to The Landing at Long Wharf. Outdoor bar and better atmosphere.

My train from NYC got in too late to make the game, otherwise I would have paid up for a ticket and gone to see the game live.

Great game for the fans, terrible games for the coaches.

Mistakes galore for both teams means that the fatigue caught up to them and led to mental errors. Two days off should allow the players to recharge. We'll see a tighter Game 5 on Saturday night.

Even though they didn't bring their A game Boston took Chicago's best punches and showed their resiliency by coming back multiple times to get to OT. Good sign...

I agree, I've seen it done when the home team is down 3-0 and then score to make it 3-1.

I could be wrong, but the way I remember is that goalies only used to get serenated when they let in a bad goal or a bunch of goal.

Now it's every. single. goal.

I personally think it's lame, but either way, it's pretty much the same anywhere.

I hope Crawford's inability to make left-hand glove saves was a fluke. Boston was taking advantage of that like crazy and succeeding way more than anyone would have ever expected. It was obvious they were setting up plays to exploit it in the second and third periods, although judging from the shot chart, the Hawks took way more shots from Rask's left side, oddly.

No, the Habs were not playing. I did tell the Bruins fans that noticed that I was cheering for the "wrong" team that I was from Montreal. One of them bought me a beer. The average Bruins fan are not douches like you about it. I actually like the Bruins team that last few years and have always liked the fans from Boston. I am just in your face because I like watching your reaction.

I have worn my Habs jersey to watch the Habs play the Bruins in Boston with nothing more than good nature ribbing. Same happens when Bruins fans come to Montreal.

I'll admit it: I thought the series was over after game 3. The Bruins really looked like they had hit their defensive stride, and the Hawks look tired. I was afraid that maybe the 7 game series against the Wings and all of the overtimes had taken too much out of them.

Then a strange thing happened: The Bruins came out in game four and looked tired and disinterested, and they were never able to turn it around. Only Crawford's rookie league level performance kept them it the game at all.

This was a game that could have essentially decided the series and the Bruins didn't accept the challenge for some reason. Hockey is a very strange game.

PS - SLingbox is great for watching live sports when you're away from home.

What's up with Patrice Bergeron?

For those that care, I want Chicago to win. I guess that means that I am not a Bruins fan.

Bruins are trying to play Chicago's game, and are doing pretty well. But their chances of winning that way are much smaller than if they played their usual style.

That's bad. I like that guy - great hockey player.

I hope it's not serious. Could be a serious internal injury.

Both teams played another close game that could have gone either way. One more Bruins loss to go.

Hope Bergeron is okay...I doubt it's ever good to be taken away in an ambulance.

One more game, Hawks! ONE MORE GAME!!

I'm just kid of pacing around right now.

I can't get comfortable anywhere. I guess I should fix myself a drink.
