I'm pretty sure if the Blackhawk's pregame meals include 50% protein they have a 65% chance of winning the next cup as well (hehehehehe).

In retrospect - this season was the best reality TV I've ever watched. From the streak, to the controversies, to the president's trophy chase, to being down against Detroit (they probably could have won the cup the way they were playing if they gave Brendan Smith sleeping pills before every game), to punking the Kings.... and now this.

I'll remember this one more fondly than 2010.

Looked like the Blackhawks dialed in the killer instinct in the last 3 minutes, I'll tell 'ya though, if Tim Thomas was still the Bruin's goalie there's no way he gets that far out of position on the winning goal, and the Bruin defensemen F'-it up badly by letting anyone have that kind of position close to the goal.

Wasn't Tukka Rask the second coming of christ though? Everyone was saying how great he was, especially through the the 3rd game in the finals. Now if you had Thomas it would have been better?

You're a much better sport than I am. Devils lost a game 7 in much the same fashion as the Bruins did a couple of years ago, going ahead and then surrendering the tying and winning goals in a matter of seconds, and that wasn't even the SCF. I couldn't even talk to anyone about it for weeks.

ShitLOL! TT has been known to be all the way to the faceoff circle out of position on goals against. Fact.

If TT was still the Bruins goalie they don't sweep Pittsburgh in the ECF.

Damn. 17 seconds was the difference between going to game 7 and losing the SC. Unbelievable.

A great series. The Bruins had their chances and couldn't capitalize. Game 1's loss was huge and of course last night's similar situation. To me, it seemed like they thought they were in the clear with < 2 minutes left and a 1 goal lead and let up a little bit. What a shame because I thought the Bruins had one of their best overall games of the series last night too until those last two minutes.

Just read that today. Very classy. Wirtz seems like a really good guy. Chicago is lucky to have him as an owner.

I should also add that almost everyone that has called in to local radio or that I've talked to that has said that Boston fans were fantastic and seem to respect the Hawks even after ripping their hearts out.
