Love this article, from a Ducks fan site:

Are you mad about having to face the Red Wings? I am. I hate their guts. I hate how they're always in the playoffs. I hate how they always win. I hate how their fans crawl out of the sticks and essentially give them an 82-game season of nothing but home games in different buildings. I hate their stupid old-timey winged-wheel logo and vintage jersey. I hate how they litter the ice with what could have been delicious fried seafood (what a waste!). I hate that they employ that diving, cheapshotting sleazebag and sorry excuse for a hockey player named Jordin Tootoo. And I hate how they call themselves "Hockeytown" when there are hundreds of other cities just as passionate about the game as they are.

But perhaps the thing I hate the most about the Motown boys is that Pavel Datsyuk guy. First... let me give him his due respect: the guy is absolutely incredible. In my opinion, Datsyuk is the best player in the world right now, bar none. He is easily the most complete player in the world. Who else do you know that consistently plays in ALL special teams situations (both power play and penalty kill), is a career PLUS-200(!), is a constant frontrunner for the Frank J. Selke trophy, and scores goals that make even ESPN take notice night after night? Not even Crosby or Ovechkin can make all of those claims.

My picks can certainly be evaluated and seen as stoopit, but we'll see what happens. I think several of the series could go 7 games, like Ana v. Det, StL v LA and Wash v. Boston

Gamecenter. Ipad application but also from the web browser. The funny thing for me is that my router has a VPN, so Hulu Plus and such works for me, but it shuts down GCL depending on the game (I have a Dallas IP address). However, I keep my computer off the VPN (I have one specific for it that I turn on if I need it). And all the games work fine there. the Ipad also seems to go off of the GPS location from what I can tell.

China's "great firewall" doesn't seem to effect the hockey streams. I get very good quality feeds from home and the games are watchable via 3G streaming.

Works beautifully, thanks. Got to watch tonight's game because of this

This part is definitely truth.

I mean I know Detroit folks have been scattered across the country because of the auto industry. I know they are like the Yankees in that if hockey were actually on TV or the radio in the old days that it was one of the teams people saw frequently (I was a Wings fan before we had the Preds because I saw them on TV all the time!). But it is definitely annoying when the Pred Wings show up to the Preds home ice games in mass quantity!

Sorry our team has TRUE fans

Seriously though, was the game last night at least close between Wings / Ducks? 10:30pm way too late for me when I wake up at 5:50am every day.

I am hoping that the Bruins and Leafs series goes to 7 games, all in overtime. The winner hopefully will be determined by the team that crawls the furthest while naked and over broken glass the whole way.

If the Kings lose by one, Quick is bound to be blamed. Wow, that mistake was just terrible.

I guess I should just be happy that the Pred Wings fans are at least Preds fans for every other home game. More money for the local team regardless and we definitely need it.

I'd say it was pretty tight overall. 2-1 at the end, then the Ducks got an empty netter from the other end of the ice.

Holy crap! St. Louis played 60-plus minutes in beast mode. They hit anything that moved... repeatedly.

I remember when Boston used to play like that. Vaguely...

I really didn't know how the Wings were going to do, but after watching the game I feel better even though they lost. I thought the Wings had more scoring chances than the Ducks, but not by a wide margin.

The Wings need scorers, right now it seems we are a team of setup-men. Bertuzzi and Samuelsson would help, but neither has played a lick this year.

15 more wins to go.

Be interesting on how chicago makes out, looked like the wild gave them alittle bit of a struggle yesterday.

Eh. Wild Goalie was playing out of his mind and Wild played a trap game the entire time. I didn't see the Islanders do that at all, so the pens could open up their game whereas Chicago had to brute force their way through the neutral zone.

St. Louis can't play like that all playoffs, they'll keel over and die.

It is pretty apparent the first round series in the West are going to be a lot tighter than those in the East.
