2012 Steam Autumn Sale: DEAD! Holiday sale starts Dec 20th!

yes!! i diiiiid it!!!! went through all the sale and only bought 2 games

yay! good for me!

OMD2 complete 2 pack + awesomenauts 3 pack were the games, that i got with friends so they costed me even less

It gets easier each sale. They seemingly put every game on sale, so you end up buying most of the games you want.

Thanks KaOTiK and LessThanDan. Since the Winter sale is so close, I'll pass on everything else I was going to buy, including the Batman games and Alan Wake and hope they come up for sale in a month. I'm sure Skyrim and Chivalry (only $15 at gmg with GMG25-G4VDR-0ZL4Q, woot) will keep me busy anyway. Plus all the backlog games if worse comes to worst.

How about Witcher 2? It's 75% and as you said before:

oh and BTW witcher 2 is 66% AND its now only 30USD base (it was 40 or 50 in the summer sale), but im pretty sure it will be 75% soon

I was able to get a lot of the more expensive titles for cheaper due to a friend who can buy them in another region for cheaper and gift them to me.

A lot of the games were 75+% off and were $2.50 or under. I only bought stuff I had interest in or looked neat. I figure even if I play and don't like a game for say 15-20 mins, it really isn't a big deal considering I spent so little on it to start with (stuff more than $5 I feel more confident in and know before hand I wanted or was interested in).

I have a few also. We haven't seen a sale on FTL yet!
I simply can't bring myself to pay full price for a game anymore. It is hard to justify paying full price for a new game when I have 100+ games waiting for me to get to.

You can have one PC with your account in offline mode to play them but obviously since it is offline on that PC you can download there. You can have that same account on another PC online and downloading while it is also offline on the other PC.

My laptop has my account in offline mode while my desktop has my account always on.

Or you can have steam turn on IN offline mode?
