They sell them on bestbuy.com. It says $0.00 tax when you checkout. If you want to be slick about it you could:
1) Buy a bestbuy giftcard at a discount. (Ebay/plasticjungle). Usually those are about 10% off.
2) Buy direct from bestbuy for rewardzone points
3) Use a cashback site like mrrebates, which is offering 3% cashback.

I'll probably pick up the BL2 season pass if it goes on sale, $30 is too high based on what they've delivered so far.

Anyone who doesn't have BL1 GOTY should grab that, in some ways it's a better single-player game.

Rocksmith is down under $20 now for this (not sure if they'll daily deal it). And currently most the DLC songs are 35% off ($1.94) - going to keep an eye and see if they drop lower.

I have to say, I LOVE this. Sure you gotta get the cable..but its pretty damn fun if you like to screw around with real guitars.

Might go lower. I think it's going to be $17 at amazon soon. You can also pick it up for ~$17.50 at the UBIShop/Uplay store if you send yourself a 10% off referral code. It's a steamworks game.

Yeah, I've been watching the price on Rocksmith for a while now.

Too bad the cable is ~$30 everywhere, but I guess buying it on Steam will save you about $10 even if you buy the cable separately.

Debating on Fable 3, as I don't forsee the base price dropping below $50

The nice thing about steam sales these days is I already own 75% of what will be on sale from previous steam sales.

The bad thing is that probably 23% of the rest of the stuff that's on sale will be stuff I have no interest in.

The remaining 2% will not be on "sale" for any remotely reasonable sale price low enough to entice me to buy it.

I love Steam, I really do and I prefer to use it as my central repository for games. That said, Amazon has the same or better prices so far than what Steam is showing, even for the winter sale daily deals. For instance Hitman Absolution is $24.99 on Steam and $19.99 on Amazon. Plus, Amazon is giving the $5 credit for a January purchase on all digital download games.
