Is Borderlands 2 worth $30 bucks?

I played borderlands 1 but got it for free from a friend. Great for free. Certainly I would flip out and would never buy at $60 bucks.

Dang it missed Crysis 75% off.

Then the question becomes whether it's worth $90.

Honestly, it's a great game, but it's been $30 for a while. Unless you have some friends who want to go in with you on it now, I'd wait for the inevitable "Game of the Year" edition during the summer so you get all the extra levels while paying less than $30 for them.

I have it on PS3 and will probably replay it on PC eventually, just as I did with Borderlands.

True, game of the year edition is always a bonus.

I just bought the base game, but now that the DLC is on sale, I'll probably pick that up as well.

My daughter has been asking me for the game, so I will pick up a copy for her as well.

Edit: I didn't answer the question about difficulty. It isn't too tough to build up, especially if you do the campaign first, since the campaign teaches you how to manage your island. It is a game like Sim City, with additional political gameplay mechanics.

I'd say you should expect 5 or so new deals for the remainder of this sale. Everything else will be a repeat from dailies, flash deals or votes.

By title I've bought far more on gog this time. What I love about the way they are doing sales this time is if you buy the group pack, they discount off the price for items you already own letting you get the deep discount even if only picking up a couple out of the 6-10 offered without waste like steam does.

Next major sale? Summer. There will be publisher weeks/weekends probably and the obviously midweek/weekend/daily deal sales as normal.

Thanks for the suggestion. After reading a few reviews, I think I'm going to go with Legend, but Anniversary sounds good too.
