I've been playing Hell Yeah! and it is a fairly fun game. I picked it up during the November sale and am just now getting around to it.

You'll be fine to buy it now. Publisher packs almost never go on sale (only 1 or 2 cases they have) and with the weekend being encore days it wont show up.
Good though that you followed the rule though. All to often I've seen people ignore it and then go oh man I bought this the other day for $5+ more

Arcade Edition is the standard one that people play. It is more balanced, I think there is a few new characters (though I'm not 100% sure on that), and is the newest one and the one people play. You really do need a controller or arcade stick. Playing fighting games with a kb blows.

Cool, thanks. I have an Xbox controller, so could use that, though I kind of hate the Xbox controller.

My buddy is restoring an old SF2: CE cabinet for me, so in the interim this will have to do.

I'm not a big fan of the X360 controller either. If you have a PS3 you can use motionjoy to use it on your PC.

Oh, you're right, I thought the talk was in general. I don't play fighting games so I can't comment on that aspect.

Always been a PS3 man never owned an X box. However, the x box pad for my PC games has been brilliant. Plug in the wireless receiver and play, easy.

The PS3 controller is definitely far superior to the 360 controller for fighting games, but that's really just because the 360's directional pad is awful. I used to play Tekken a lot on my PS3, and then I recently purchased Tekken Tag Tournament 2 for my 360. It didn't take long for me to make a thread asking for arcade stick advice. I forgot about how bad the d-pad was.

Yeah, all just preference- I own a ps3 and used to own an xbox 360- really did not like the 360 controller.

A reminder, you have less than 45 minutes to make last purchase for the vast majority of the store. They are doing an encore for this weekend for the best selling stuff of the sale. So if something was on sale as a daily/flash/community it might show back up but if it wasn't one of those it will stop being on sale in roughly 45 minutes.
