I love Steam, I really do and I prefer to use it as my central repository for games. That said, Amazon has the same or better prices so far than what Steam is showing, even for the winter sale daily deals. For instance Hitman Absolution is $24.99 on Steam and $19.99 on Amazon. Plus, Amazon is giving the $5 credit for a January purchase on all digital download games.

That $5 credit for January is for only Editor Choice games that they select, not all.

They use to have a dozen, but they didn't have flash deals. Now because of the flash deals and community vote we are getting more deals per day than before.

New flash deals are up as well as the community vote winner.

Ye, I'd love to. Either 1 or 2 is ok. This looks like the kind of balls out game that might make even Saints Row look a bit censored. Hoping the bugs are manageable. I watched a bit of the youtube, but not too much to spoil it, and it looks wild.

Hoping for a 75% special with DLC, but I might crack at 66%, cause summer seems so damn far away.

I've played the sequel, and it was pretty great, but I haven't played the first one because it seems a lot more story-oriented and it would probably be way more enjoyable multiplayer. Which, now that I think about it, doesn't make much sense... (story-oriented games are typically better in singleplayer), but Kane & Lynch is different. It's more like a summer flick. You want to watch it with a friend.

To be specific, Kane & Lynch: Dead Men is like a 90's B-grade action-heist movie that goes straight to VHS and plays on cable at 3:00 AM. At least that's what it seems like. I wanna play it.

But to my question, which I should probably ask here, if someone has Shank 2, should they still get Shank 1? Are they complementary in any way or one replaces the other?

Someone asked in some thread, a while ago, if there are any games like Trine 1 + 2. Was scouring the sales today and ran across Death and the Fly. A different world concept, but perhaps made in the same spirit. And on sale, too, lol. No demo.
