I know. I don't understand why the email says 0% off though. Maybe because it was on sale in the first place, and today it's a "featured item" for the same price as it was, but showing up on a sale or something?

Played through start to finish in 2 sittings, strong, emotional story, a nice twist on the back end of the game, and while the combat is pretty much just a variant of Gears, there are a few pretty epic set pieces you fight your way through during the game.

It was one of my favorite games of the year, I highly recommend it.

A bit frustrating this morning but I was on a server with a lot of higher ranked players. Last night I was having a lot of beginner's luck. Sending heads and arms left and right. :twisted:

I like the objective-based modes more than TDM. It is fun trying to hold off raiders from killing your king.

It HAS been as low as $22.xx, but not directly from steam. Remember, it is a game that REQUIRES steam no matter where you buy it from anyway, so there's no real reason to wait for a steam sale on it if it goes on sale elsewhere. Just buy it wherever you can get it cheapest.

Hell, it was actually possible to get it for $9.99 from the Toys'r'Us clearance a couple months back...

I heard it was so so. I picked it up because I thought the premise sounded pretty cool and overall it looks pretty good. From what I read, it has some issues but is decent overall.

I'm a bit underwhelmed with the sale this year. Hardly anything is 75% off, and it seems like alot fewer games on sale.

Only thing I picked up so far is Hegemony Gold:Wars of Ancient Greece for $5.

Sonic Generations is pretty fun. Sonic Adventure (was from DC) is pretty good too. I heard Sonic 4 wasn't that good, but that episode 2 was better.

The bummer is that I already own Sonic Generations, but it's still cheaper to buy the package. I've played a little bit of Generations, and the worst part for me has to be the 3D stages. I'm just no good at 'em! I keep falling off the stage, because the lock on system doesn't lock onto a bouncy pad, and I end up zooming off the edge.

Part of me really wants games like Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine! :awe:
