I really enjoyed rage fwiw. Its a linear game though, and will be over after about 20-30 hours of playtime unless you want to do all the side-tracking stuff of which there is a decent amount.

I also really enjoyed borderlands.

Anyone play Dead Rising 2 Off the Record? I played the first one on 360 and almost chucked my controller through my TV set. I like the idea of this game, but ultimately found it too frustrating to play. How is this one?

Damage pretty light so far, CK2 DLC ~$8, Trine franchise $5, Grimrock $6, and Dear Esther $2.50. Been able to talk myself out of everything else. I'll get Hard Reset too, though. Disappointed Skyrim isn't going below 50%, still thinking about the bundle with New Vegas and Brink... but I have 15ish games I haven't even installed in my library and another 10 or so I've just dabbled in.

It will tell you in the cart whether you already own them. Then you can selectively remove all the ones you already have leaving only the ones you don't It's faster than checking each one individually.

For $10 - it's not a huge loss if you don't enjoy it. The game is sort of a very linear borderland's wannabe. As others have said - you may have to finagle with the graphics settings.

Ya, that used to work better than it does. Steam has been letting me look at a lot of stuff I own and not telling me I have it, including the point of purchase.

Same or similar happened to me last night. I had about $11 in my steam wallet and tried to purchase something for $3.75 using the steam client. I wound up getting a payment selection screen that I hadn't seen before. Steam wallet was already selected, so I just clicked next and was informed that the credit card company refused. So I signed into steam through my browser and tried again and this time it worked fine. I made a purchase again today with steam client and no problems this time.

Were you trying to purchase the game with a credit card or with steam funds that had been charged to the card. So maybe that's the money that they confirmed steam was paid. If so, your steam wallet should not have been deducted if the purchase messed up. (mine wasn't when the error happened).

I had also thought some kind of auto fraud thing kicked in, but I've added even more to the steam wallet with no problems (damn all the 75% off deals).

I was buying from a card. Check and make sure you weren't double charged.

Yes, just know the first 2 are such a consolized port they don't even have proper labeling for action buttons. The controls are wonky too, so if you have a xbox controller that helps, but I went through the first three without one so more than doable.

Gift cards are available in $20 and $50 amounts, so you have to kick in the extra to round up.

Guys, I just found this awesome program (thanks to someone in the Cheapassgamer forums) that will give you back a fair bit of space in your HD. I'm sure like me many of you have a HD dedicated to just Steam and probably have a lot of games installed, well this program goes through and deletes all the redundent stuff Steam downloads for each game you download (you know like those VC Redist, DirectX, etc installers)

I did it on my 1TB drive that is nearly full of Steam games and it cleared up 13.5GB
