Well, after 5 days of steam sale kicking my ass, yesterday I didn't buy a single thing. Though I am only looking for 2 certain games at this point

It's pretty fun. It's a reverse tower defense game. Basically you command a squad who's trying to do some sort of mission and that involves going through enemy towers. It was part of the first humble android bundle.

Same here, yesterday was a quiet day. Not much left that I am looking for either at this point.

Sins of a Solar Empire on sale would be nice, but unless something else sucks me in I think I am pretty much done.

I was wondering how often someone has bought one of their $50 publisher packs. It seems like they wouldn't sale very well because most people will already have a few of the games in the pack, plus maybe not even care about some of the other games in the pack. Yet, the pack sales are always a big part of Steams sale. I would rather see more individual sales.

Anyone played Spec Ops the Line? Wasn't really on my radar until Yahtzee raved about it last week. Any other opinions?

played the demo, wasn't impressed. yahtzee raved about this game? wow...doesn't seem like something he would rave about...

damnit, i didn't think shoot many robots looked that good at first glance but after watching some videos, it looks pretty fun. but it's now like $6 or $7 instead of $2.49

Almost voted for Test Drive Unlimited 2, just because I don't have it. Then I realized I should be voting for games that are GOOD, rather than voting for games I don't have. So I voted for Hot Pursuit 2.

They may have each of them at $5 before but I don't think at the same time (I could be wrong). If you don't have them and you are thinking of playing them, I'd say it's a good price.

I'm from Canada as well and I wanted to buy the Civ IV pack they sold a couple months ago. I was denied because of my Canadian address. Soooo, I put in an american address and was allowed to give them my money. They are digital goods anyways, what does it even matter.

So Canadians (or anyone else for that matter) can order from amazon.com if they enter an American address.

If you can get in with somebody buying a 4-pack of both games through Steam, you could split the cost up to $3.75 per copy of each game, I believe.

Edit: the 4-pack is only available for Bioshock 2, so you could save a whopping $1.50 if you buy the 4-pack and offload the extras for $3.75 each.

Clearly not what I said. I simply agree with the previous poster that original Torchlight beating Oblivion GOTY is hard to believe.

Why? Oblivion has been on sale many times, plus it got some bad reviews for the leveling system. Torchlight has been getting a lot of attention lately with the release of Torchlight 2.

I purchased MW3 from Amazon, and the code activated no problem on Steam.

I'd like to get Anno 2070, but $25 is still too pricey for me.

Cities XL 2012 is a very mediocre city-builder, has lots of technical problems and not a lot of staying power.

SimCity 4 is the only logical choice here.
