Some didn't like hoard but I did, think of it as opposite tower defense where you are flaming down the towers for the gold (and women!).

Today looks like a good day to save money, most of its been on sale at least once before.

Is the Deluxe Edition of Driver San Francisco worth it.....or should I just snag the regular edition.

The original Far Cry was absolutely amazing.

Seconded. Far Cry is completely frickin awesome. I've heard so many negative things about Far Cry 2 that I haven't gotten around to trying it. I think Crysis was basically the spiritual successor to Far Cry. But Far Cry alone is well worth the $5, so I wouldn't be disappointed if you get the pack and end up not liking FC2.

You enjoy this one?

Yes! It's an open-world racing game (err, driving game) with great controls, good physics, and - surprise surprise - a cool storyline with interesting characters. Some of the writing will put a smile on your face.

There's a large variety of activities for you to do, and many of the situations you'll find yourself in are very silly, even comedic. The game doesn't take itself too seriously and has a bit of a campy, urban feel to it. But most importantly, the gameplay feels good, and it has a good driving model.

Use a gamepad or a wheel for the best experience.

I feel like we should trust your judgment since you've played every game on Steam, or 500+ anyway

Heheh... well, I may not be the best person to listen to since I can be pretty indiscriminate. I like lots of games.

Ya, I was watching for insanely too because of the great look, and waited for it, nice it went on special

I've read that the controls can be finicky and you can waste a lot of time trying to maneuver the ship and whatever it's carrying into tight spots, but I've been happy with the games I've bought for the art recently (e.g., Limbo), so I'm hoping that trend continues. Bought it from work, but haven't been home to try it out yet.

Looks like the Civilization Collection does not include Gods and Kings. With out that is it not really all that useful. I think I'll wait for the winter sell when for about that same price it will include it.

They've been selling it for 10% off during the sale, and 25% off when Civ 5 is on a daily special for $22.49.

Thanks. I played the original Driver 10+ years ago and enjoyed it, and this one has been on my wishlist for a while and isn't getting any cheaper any time soon, so I bit. Planning to use a wireless 360 controller.

My issue is whether to buy it again for PC, have it for PS3 and haven't played yet.

Depends. If you really want it on PC then buy it, otherwise you might as well play the PS3 version. As far as I'm concerned, the PC and console versions of Driver: San Francisco are identical.

If I owned it for PS3 I'd just play that. In my case, that means a better controller (with rumble) and bigger screen. Then again, I could just install on my laptop and play it through TV that way, but still wouldn't get to use the sixaxis. Depends on where you prefer to play games I guess.

I wish I knew if the games on my wishlist would go more on sale so that I can buy the FarCry pack...never played either of them, but I don't want to buy them if my wishlist games go on sale

If the game has been a flash/daily deal during this sale, it wont go any cheaper then that.

As for the FarCry pack, just get the first one, the second sucks balls.

Regardless of whether FC2 is good or not, you absolutely, positively cannot go wrong with Far Cry for $2.50. That game was worth full price.

Broke down and ordered The Witcher 2. Missed out on all the Max Payne sales so far, whoops-a-daisy. I may get through this summer sale spending under $20.... not bad.

Ya, my PS3 has the 65" screen, which is why I grabbed it for PS3 (I don't have a PC for the TV at this time). But then there's that 'graphics are better on the PC' issue...

I think Divinity II is going to win this vote, but hard pick to vote for it or Risen, Risen has an 'underdog' appeal, both are deserving. Has either had 75% already?
