People say it's good. I grabbed it awhile back and it looks cool, but takes A LOT of time to get into. It's not easy by any means. I just didn't have the time to invest, it reminded me a lot of EVE Online w/o the Online part (and about as complex).

In other news, Trine 2 WOW. Grabbed it because of all the talk about it, I can't get over how beautiful this game is. Even if it sucked, you want to keep playing just for the visuals. Going to try it in 3D on the 70" tomorrow

Tropico 4 - Pretty fun! You get little missions and they help you along if you terrible (like me)
Saints Row: The Third - like a GTA copy. Very arcade-y, in a good way.

By the screens I am almost sure I will not like Bastion.

It's all about the narration. Try the demo.

It sounds odd, but they make the whole game fun with the narration, though I wouldn't like the game much without that.

Everyone I've heard buy it liked it.

FWIW: Sword of the Stars II is reportedly a massive pile of garbage. The game was completely broken on release, and even after a number of patches, it's still broken. Doesn't help that the core gameplay and general premise of the game is fairly boring.

Fallout 3 was released before Windows 7, so they put that disclaimer there to save their asses in case people have issues running it. In reality, the game works 100% perfectly on Win7. No worries.

I played with a 360 pad, but I'm pretty confident the controls work just as well either way.

Just get X3 Terran Conflict. There's no point playing the older ones, they're essentially the same games with less/worse features.

I do like the X series, and just bought terran conflict and prelude, but I always seem to find myself hauling energy cells from one station to the next.

$10 says Jagged Alliance BIA only got that score because of all the retarded crybabies who wanted it to be exactly like the original JA games.

Just FYI: If there's a game you're waiting for to go "on sale" that hasn't popped up yet, CHECK THE TITLE ANYWAY.

For example, I saw that Star Ruler was on the list of games to be in the sale, but it hasn't been listed yet. I checked the other day, and it was listed at 75% off despite not having been on any of the daily sales to date.

Moral of the story: Check your wanted title list. Doesn't mean they won't go cheaper on a daily sale, but it means you'll have the comfort of knowing you'll have till the 23rd to buy it.
