The show was too stupid for American audiences.

Yeah...because the ever increasing mega-popularity of brain rotting bullshit "reality" shows indicates just how uber-intelligent most American TV viewers are.

'Dracula' was just way too stupid for those mouth breathers to digest in between watching such enlightening and brain enriching shows like 'The Adventures of Honey Fat Fat and Mama Thumb Head', 'The Manufactured Fake-Ass Hillbillies' Homophobic Dynasty' and 'The Ghetto Street Trash Selling Junk to Buy Meth Hour'.

If anything it was way too intelligent for those IQ point challenged members of our society.

Same here but we're not completely in the clear. Rest assured, Fox will eventually screw up and cancel a great show.

Almost human has become a fairly entertaining watch for me. A couple of those out of order episodes in the beginning when they were developing the characters and such was somewhat odd, but hope Fox can let this one go at least another season to see how it grows.

Honestly, I think it's gotten far worse. I really hate it when a show dangles back story elements in your face, and then just completely ignores them in following episodes. The guy escaped over "the wall", but we still have no idea why there's even a wall to begin with! It's not like this is some great secret, it's just part of the back story of the city. Oddly enough, the opening sequence to the show is full of exposition, but fails to tell you anything about it.

We've only had a single reference since that episode where Kennex jokingly threatened to throw someone over the wall. After two recent episodes dealing with "Chromes", it seems that has become their focus... if you can state that there actually is a focus.

CBS announces big bang will be on a new night next year. Crazy People and 2.5 women will be changing spots.

interesting about DDD... it was cancelled after its 4th season but brought back for a 5th after the network/studio agreed on budget cuts.

it'll be returning for a 6th season this spring, but this will be the final season (hopefully the writers knew in advance so they can give it a proper send-off)

still waiting to find out about The Tomorrow People... I've got 4 episodes sitting on my DVR, but if the show is cancelled I'm just going to delete them rather than be left with an unresolved cliff-hanger.

The wall was mentioned a time or two in several of the early episodes. To my knowledge they've never stated exactly where this place is so you don't really have knowledge of what this wall would be. Also you'd need to look at the episode production data to see if they're still revising the production to broadcast order. I recall a much briefer discussion of her being a chrome a couple episodes ago, and then it because a multi ep story line, maybe they were to be together all along?

Haha. That's what I do.

DVR has about 7 eps of a new show I like, but if the show's cancelled then I do an instant delete.

......A good thing since my DVR memory is at 3%

I had all of sean and mjf recorded...until I started watching them, wow were they bad. Also got around to watching trophy wife, found that much funnier that I would have thought.

I agree. I like the two main actors and Rudy, but the episodic structure and worldbuilding are seriously flawed.

I think Brooklyn 99 has settled in to be a decent show as well. It was a bit over the top silly in the first half of the season, but Sanberg has mellowed a bit in recent episodes.

Yes, that is what they are saying. Those shows B99, New Girl, The Following, and The Mindy Project all got renewed, but Almost Human didn't even get a order for the rest of the season (it had a 13 ep order with a 22 ep option).

I think part of the problem is fox has freely cancelled so many programs that people don't watch till they are guaranteed a certain longevity and the sports dominated fall season has caused fox to putt out some fairly crappy continuity issues with their schedules.

I pretty much agree with all of that.

Fox has lost its way of late. Their reality shows are nothing compared to what they were.

In some ways bringing back 24 is an attempt to recapture their mojo.

I found it easier to suspend disbelief over a kid coming back to life than an ICE agent being able to transport a kid halfway across the country and seriously think about putting him up for adoption without so much as an "OK" from a supervisor.
