I think it's going to get cancelled.

There is absolutely no reason to keep watching new shows.

Having the story ripped away from you is too frustrating to put up with this bullshit.

I need to train myself to not DVR any show that has not made past Season 1 .......with survivably good ratings.

I pretty much agree with all of that.

Fox has lost its way of late. Their reality shows are nothing compared to what they were.

In some ways bringing back 24 is an attempt to recapture their mojo.

and yet 24 is the show that drove me into the "I'll wait until it's on DVD (or now, Netflix)" mentality. I swear, it's like they flipped a coin in the air at 7:55 PM to determine if they would run American Idol or 24 at 8 PM. The scheduling was so damn horrible that combined with the "see who gets kidnapped again this week" plotline, I gave up watching it until it came out on DVD so I could binge watch it in a weekend.

I'm getting close to the same conclusion. There are so many good things to watch on Netflix that I can easily just watch things that have been out a few seasons and are universally acclaimed.

Raising Hope cancelled. Not surprising in that the creator left this year to start a new show, somewhat surprising in that it would have needed only one more year for a five year run for improved syndication $$$$ but with things like mindy getting renewed this may have been sacrificed.

Still no word in human even though its in the top of the fox show ratings.

I actually enjoyed it. Still, it's on a broadcast network, so it will suck/get campy soon and be cancelled. I don't understand why broadcast networks can't produce quality shows. You can watch 2 minutes of dialog and immediately tell the difference between a broadcast show and a well written show. Don't they have the budget for good writers and decent actors?

I'm still watching Intelligence but am quickly losing interest. I won't be too sad if it is cancelled.

However I would be more disappointed if Almost Human is cancelled.

The quality of the writing is only marginally better, but I like the characters, background story, and setting better.

Meanwhile, I'm hopeful for the new season of Continuum, which starts airing again this week. However, the writing of Continuum has been pretty inconsistent, much like Intelligence.

Meanwhile, I'm hopeful for the new season of Continuum, which starts airing again this week. However, the writing of Continuum has been pretty inconsistent, much like Intelligence.

I'm also a Continuum fan. It picked up at the end of last season. The final was a real humdinger. I hope they pick up where they left off.

Now I have to rewatch the last episode to get ready

Yeah...because the ever increasing mega-popularity of brain rotting bullshit "reality" shows indicates just how uber-intelligent most American TV viewers are.

'Dracula' was just way too stupid for those mouth breathers to digest in between watching such enlightening and brain enriching shows like 'The Adventures of Honey Fat Fat and Mama Thumb Head', 'The Manufactured Fake-Ass Hillbillies' Homophobic Dynasty' and 'The Ghetto Street Trash Selling Junk to Buy Meth Hour'.

If anything it was way too intelligent for those IQ point challenged members of our society.

I hope it isn't cancelled. I like JRM. If it does get cancelled I'll probably rewatch Tudors or something since my body and mind were expecting a few seasons of JRM.

I'll have to watch smallville (only watched first 2 seasons initially) to give myself more Kristin Kreuk. Fuck.

That explains why Raising Hope doesn't have the occasionally very good episodes this year. I watch Raising Hope for the good episodes only. Some I turn off after a few minutes.

I guess they must have explored the syndication market and another year was not a good deal.

160+ episodes of her on Smallville so I'll be good for like 3 months probably. Then just to find a new person to watch. Always one or two on at any time, just been on a KK kick lately.

She's definitely quite the looker, but I can't say that she's much of an actress. She reminds me way too much of Kristen Stewart in that neither of them show much emotion. Kreuk has the I-talk-really-softly voice that she uses for just about everything, but when she's mad, she talks slightly louder. :|

Yea don't care about her acting talent. If I want to watch good acting I watch other stuff. Sometimes I just want cheap drama and to look at good looking people. Beauty and the beast accomplished that both male and female. Jay Ryan is a goddamn stud and I've already gone on record about KK.
