This is an understatement. It is horrifically unfunny. One scene had the father sit too close to the son on the couch. According to the laugh track, that gag was supposed to be funny. The writers of the show must have thought it was so hilarious that they did it again a few minutes later.

funny you mention this scene because I saw it and specifically noticed the laugh track also. The thing about that show is that the dads are actually the least funny parts. They should have more of the wife of the dude from boiler room

A show being canned after two episodes has absolutely nothing to do with the quality of the show. Not enough people watched to decide for themselves, that means the marketing was abso-freaking-lutely awful.

Lucky 7? When was that even on? I don't remember seeing a single ad for it on TV. Apparently Tuesday at 9pm after Agents of SHIELD...

I saw the aired episodes of Lucky 7. Wasn't that bad but I didn't see it making it more than 1/2 the season.

Watched a few new shows and other than Revolution (which should have already been cancelled), I agree that We Are Men won't last more than half a season. For a new sitcom you'd expect a strong premiere but man oh man was it boring... my wife couldn't even sit through it and the was the one who wanted to watch it in the first place.

We Are Men is absolutely terrible. Shame considering it has Tony Shalhoub. I don't think I even got a smile once the whole first episode.
EDIT: just read that We Are Men has been cancelled after two episodes.

The Millers also was awful. I felt sorry for Beau Bridges having to be on the show.

I am still liking Brooklyn 99 but it follows the stinker Dads and is in ratings trouble. Though it actually is doing better than its Dads lead in.

If the network that ordered the show doesn't want to air a single episode it's hard to imagine another network taking it off their hands at any price.

I don't know. TBS sure loves taking shows that the networks don't want.

Yeah I checked the last numbers and in the younger viewers they were about tied for highest of the night and in top 3 of total.


Someone will pick it up, if only cause they get 13 cheap episodes, but barring a miracle it's DOA.

Can't wait for them to get into the whole Agent Coulson and Agent Handsome are both in love with Maria Hill but we really know one of them will marry someone else because they are telling their kids how they met their mother.

Dads and Brooklyn get additional episodes ordered, but not complete season 1 runs. Expectation is both extended to serve as fillers till new shows drop in the spring and these are goners unless a major ratings uptick occurs.

Yeah, I didn't have high expectations for Brooklyn 99 but it has been the funniest show this season, even funnier than Modern Family.

Ugh, the Simpsons really do need to go off the air. Though it must still be making money from the younger demographic.

Honestly, I don't pay any attention to the network shows anymore because a lot of them just aren't good. Especially since the cable networks have raised the bar so much. I don't think I've seen any of these shows except American Dad.

The only comedy that I've felt slightly disappointed in this season would be The League. I still enjoy the show, but they've been overusing the Making-Gay-References-to-an-Oblivious-Andre routine quite a bit lately. It's just getting a little old at this point. :$

There's been quite a few times on MF this year where I felt it's fell flat, particularly with Cam.
