Agreed...I don't think either will hold up over time.
I think the Optima looks awesome. The new Hyundais all look like deformed fish.

I want the Lincoln version of the Fusion, the MKZ.

They might be able to squeeze the 5cyl turbo in there, but if not I would expect something near 300hp. I think there is a variant of the ecoboost 4cyl that's close. In a car weighing 3300lbs(fwd) that would probably move nicely. However I would hope in a ST variant of it would have a true AWD system, just have to wait and see. Most idealy they shove the 3.5l ecoboost in there, that would be beyond awesome and I would be in the dealership in a heartbeat!
Eitherway looks like the fusion hybrid is out next vehicle! Can't beat 47/43 mpg's in that size of vehicle!
Only thing I worry about is visibility, since the beltline is so high. I know in the press release they said it wasn't compromised, but it sure looks like it will be.
would look 100% better without blinging wheels.
i'm not a drug dealer why would i want to look like one.

The main demographic targeted by Lincoln is people who listen to gangster rap...

No manual with the 2.0-liter EcoBoost. Game over for me.
Has anyone here ever driven a car with those panoramic glass roofs? Are they noisier than a regular top? How about sun damage to the interior and greenhouse effect inside the cabin? I would think those would be major concerns with that. Seems like a good idea and it looks great on a show car but not very practical in real life.

I can't really see being concerned about the panoramic roofs and sun damage. They are pretty heavily tinted and most don't seem to care about baking their front and rear dashes all day long. Either way, there's always the shade.
I detailed an older Lexus that had an automatic rear sun shade. I thought that was pretty nifty. I'm noticing a lot of Mercedes and BMW and the like coming with manual shades nowadays too.
Dude. My Chevy has a manual shade. I would bet premium cars have power shades.
