I can't really see being concerned about the panoramic roofs and sun damage. They are pretty heavily tinted and most don't seem to care about baking their front and rear dashes all day long. Either way, there's always the shade.
I detailed an older Lexus that had an automatic rear sun shade. I thought that was pretty nifty. I'm noticing a lot of Mercedes and BMW and the like coming with manual shades nowadays too.
I thought that demographic drove Escalades?
If it is like the Hyundai Sonata, then they saved weight by not making the chassis capable of accepting a 3.5L.
It weighs in at 3,300 pounds. They can't have been too worried about saving weight.

Looks good but the Hybrid's will only be made in Mexico....Booooooooo!
Would rather buy a Sonata (insert whatever car here) made in USA vs a Ford made in Mexico.
Too bad!
Saw a gorgeous blue one on the road today
Might have to reconsider my choice of black...
When do you expect reviews to be out? Dealer said they are expecting cars in the lot in about 2 weeks.
Dealer near me has two SE models already. Reviews are already out on some websites (autoblog/edmunds)
Still have yet to see one of these on the street.
I see one everyday. Right now it's in my garage

I feel like this design is suddenly going to be appearing on a Hyundai near you. Since everything they do is a rip off of someone else. . .
Add in Kia. They're the same company.
Really, though, you see a ton of this everywhere. While the Koreans blatently do it, all the manufacturers do it if another manufacturer has a better styled vehicle.
Hell, look at Ford's new 'Escape'. It has Honda/Kia written all over it (and is just as hideous as those cars are).
