How weird is that? Mine is just the passenger side, and it's just popped loose the one time. After I snapped it back in it hasn't given me any troubles...I'm wondering if it has something to do with the proximity to the door speakers, as the speaker grill butts up against that interior piece.
I don't think that mine are as loose as you're describing. If I fidget with them, I definitely feel a bit of play, which is probably the reason why. I might just be wussing out and not putting enough pressure on them to put them back in place. I have a tendency to do that to avoid accidentally breaking things.
My little console tray never goes anywhere. You have it sitting on the tabs, yeah? I don't have anything in mine though, and seldom open the console itself. My Ipod just sits in there and does it's thing and I have a pig tail USB cord running out of the front to charge the phone.
Yeah, it's in the tabs, but it doesn't really seem to fit snugly at all. It's almost like the tray should be about 1/8" wider to fit properly.
I find it strange that the CD player can't (or wont) identify what CD is in the player. It plays them fine, but just says "Track 1", etc...I thought this was a pretty run of the mill thing for cars in this day and age. Am I just wishful thinking?
That would require a database to identify which CD you've inserted. I think that's what Gracenote essentially does with MFT (it also provides cover art). I'm not sure if Sync has that too, but it might be a feature that you need to enable.
