Hey Dankk, any recommended DLC for GRID 2?

The Demolition Derby pack, because it's free. Also both of the track packs (Spa-Francorchamps and Bathurst).

You shouldn't really need any of the car packs... but then again for some reason I couldn't join my buddy's online games until I bought the Classic GRID Pack, which was weird. I think that's only an issue in custom games though. If you just play the regular online playlists you should be good to go.

Grabbed the Poker Night 2 game for $0.99, just because it looks funny and I had $1.32 extra in my Steam Wallet. That brings me to a total of 10 games purchased, plus the Humble Bundle with Sanctum and that from right before. I will also probably grab the Half-Life 2 stuff.

On that, does anyone know if you can gift PART of a game pack? I was considering getting the Half-Life Complete Pack, but I already own most (if not all) of the original Half-Life titles. I wanted to get the pack for Half-Life 2 content, then give the rest to someone, if I can.

Does anyone like Rising Storm? It looks like Arma for World War II. I'm thinking about picking up the four pack.

I picked it up and played a little. It's fun, but I wouldn't call it Arma per-se. Your "role" in combat is strictly defined by the game mechanics, and hand-to-hand is essentially nonexistent, which kinda kills the immersion for me. I've been in situations where I've been face-to-face with an enemy but there's no melee button for me to butt-stroke him, so we just dance around like idiots until one of us gets a lucky shot.

That said it's still fun, and honestly even if hand-to-hand were fluid it would be an extremely rare occurrence. The weapons are accurately depicted and their historical roles are accurately portrayed, even on Urban maps you're a million times more likely to be shot than get close enough for h2h, just as it was. And like all realistic games, one shot deaths are by far the most common.

I love Rogue Legacy. I got to max level on it, which is really special for me because I almost never finish games.

I got in on Kerbal Space Program a long time ago, and it's really fun if anyone is into that sort of thing. I'm in an orbit between "Earth" and "Mars" right now. The soundtrack for being in space is fantastic.

Same here. Exited out of the client to fix an issue and now I can't log back in or access the webpage.
