I put a solid 4 hours into it last night. Whoever said it was a short game is definitely wrong. In theory it's a short game, but there are a dozen different ways to complete it along with countless easter eggs and some pretty silly achievements. I've never really cared about achievements, but these ones crack me up.

I put in 2.5 hrs or so and think I've completed pretty much every ending but I'm sure I'll go back and try to find other options.

Even @ 2.5 hrs- totally worth it- very unique and entertaining.

It's rather lame how they seem so reluctant to put DLC on sale. :\

My #1 complaint with Xbox LIVE, haha. I wanted to get the DLC from the original Borderlands on there, but the DLC alone is more expensive on LIVE than the GotY edition of the game (with all of the DLC) is.

But put me in the self-kicking camp over the Infinite Season Pass. When I saw that, I considered getting it and the game, but now that it appeared to be a mistake (or the most-limited sale ever), I feel like buying the game without having the pass, or paying $20 for the pass, is not a good-enough deal.

All that aside, this shall be my first Steam Sale I will actually partake in, ans I think that the first thing I will be getting is the GotY Edition of Dishonored, as I have a teacher who swears by that game and even has a poster of it in her office.

After that, given that this is the first sale I'll be buying from, I'm just going to wing it. I'm hoping 5-10 games end up added to my collection, though we'll see if there's a limit.

Still tempted to get Bioshock Infinite, but I imagine it will be back at the same price near the end of the sale. Loved the first game, but I did not get very far in the second one due to boredom. :hmm:

I know how you feel. I beat and loved the first, but I've still not finished the second. I get extremely bored with it after playing for about 20 minutes. It just feels like a colossal drag, and it's disappointing that you're supposed to be a Big Daddy, yet your offensive and defensive capabilities seem pretty limited.

I can't say if it is better or not, but Infinite is completely different than the first 2. It is Bioshock in spirit and universe. With the accolades that it has gotten (which 2 didn't get) I would highly recommend it.

It does look good. Some of my gaming friends and I are on the fence over it. It looks like there are PvE and PvP servers.

FTL's a great game. There are few games this difficult and yet addictively enganging.

What I don't like about it is that the difficulty is luck based. Great game though, just need a few runs to get lucky.

Depends on what you like. I played the shit out of it and think it's arguably the best open-world game ever made. But the open world really is a lot of the appeal. If you just play the plot missions and avoid the side-stuff, you're missing out. Not that the plot missions aren't good, they're excellent, but they're only part of the game. Characters and voice-acting are also spot-on.

I had the most fun finding inventive ways to liberate enemy "outposts". It gets especially fun when you get the wing-suit, when you can literally play batman.. well, batman with knives and guns.

If you're not into sandbox games I wouldn't recommend it.

Well SOB..they don't tell you that they are having Sync issues with Steam, so you can't log into the game? Why would Steam allow them to have this for sale when no one has been able to play the game in THREE days. rofl If they ever fix it so you can play the game I will post a stream, but the "team" is off for holidays/weekends..

Edit: Yah don't buy Nether, apparently people have not been able to play since 11/1 that bought it from steam because they have to manually enter peoples link information they get from steam. rofl.

Seems like a Castlevavia themed Devil May Cry/God Of War series IMO, but I've only played through the Demo.

See, I finally grabbed Dishonored, and if I combine that with the fact that I have about a dozen games I haven't finished (of which 40% is probably sports games) on my 360, I probably have enough to play between Xbox and PC (where I have, but have not played, probably 6+ games).

I tried the demo of The Stanley Parable last night/this morning (IDK what time it was), and I don't know about that game. The genre it calls itself ("Exploration") doesn't sound like I'd enjoy it, but the demo (while explaining nothing about the game) was funny and entertaining. I think if it goes on a bigger sale than 40% later on, I might grab it.

As I mentioned before, never partaken in a Steam Sale before, so I had to build up a bit of a Wishlist, and it looks like the next things I am waiting for are DOOM 3: BFG Edition and Half-Life 2, since I plan to play the first one (for the first time, I'm embarrassed) over my month-long winter break.

It is more like God of War type of game, it is a very good game, just not really Castlevania in play style.

I'll try if I ever get steam linked to the game, apparently steam and company servers are backlogged because of holiday sale. They said could take up to 24 hours to play. lol

I think it autopicks a server and just shows player numbers/ping. 64 player servers, they are considering 128player in future if it works out.

I already played and beat both Portal games, but I liked that they were puzzle-based and physics-based. I'm not sure I'll like a general "walk around and explore" game, which is why I don't care about getting The Walking Dead (beyond my general lack of interest in the show...or zombies as a whole).

I still feel like DOOM 3 is a game I HAVE to play, because I actually got it on Xbox when I was 14 or so, and it scared the heck out of me to the point that I quit after an hour, haha. So I want to replay it and NOT be a pathetic baby about it. That, and the BFG Edition comes with the first two games, which I never played, and I'd like to try them.

Half-Life, yeah, I almost started playing the first one last night, but I ended up finishing a bit of stuff on NBA 2K12, since I decided I want to try to beat it in one day, not sure how long it is. That, and I might opt to play it with a controller, since I use my PC from a bed, and playing shooters on a bed with a mouse and keyboard isn't the best of times.
