Bought The Stanley Parable. Demo was silly and reminded me of Portal.

I put a solid 4 hours into it last night. Whoever said it was a short game is definitely wrong. In theory it's a short game, but there are a dozen different ways to complete it along with countless easter eggs and some pretty silly achievements. I've never really cared about achievements, but these ones crack me up.

Damn, the vote made me choose between Hard Reset and Painkiller. That might be the first time I've ever actually been conflicted on a vote.

Same, It was a daily deal a couple weeks ago and I was on the fence about it. If it comes back at around 75% I'll probably grab it.

I'm selling my globes while they're still above 40 cents. I figure I won't buy enough games or craft enough other badges to get a complete set. Will use the money to buy other cards I need for badges.

It's a good idea to sell them all now, and then buy them near the end of the sale. I've sold four now which gives me $1.60ish; at the end of the sale, all the cards will be down to $.12-.15, so the money I made already will be enough to craft one badge.

I was thinking it might be different since these cards expire, but there are already thousands of them up for sale after one day.

That's great news. I will crack a bottle and have some fun with this one over the holidays.

Still tempted to get Bioshock Infinite, but I imagine it will be back at the same price near the end of the sale. Loved the first game, but I did not get very far in the second one due to boredom. :hmm:

I voted Painkiller. Hard Reset is good, but Painkiller HD doesn't get enough love.

...and of course, Hard Reset wins anyway.

Holy cripes!

Was browsing Path of Exile items on the market, which are helm skins you can transfer to helms in the game for visual distinction. The rarest one - there have been a handful that sold for around $150 each!

Some people just have way too much money it seems. Here's hoping I get some of these when I craft the badges.

I ended up voting for (and purchasing) Hard Reset since it's been on my wish list for a while and I haven't played it. I played the first Painkiller back in the boxed-game days and it's a ton of fun. It doesn't take itself seriously and I love the weapons and the collectible card powerup mechanic. Nailing things to the wall with the stake gun is just entertaining.

So I've ended up getting Eve, FEZ, and Far Cry 3 so far and they came out to $11.96. Haven't received any cards in my inventory yet though. Is it being laggy for anyone else too?

Yea and its pretty awesome, love how colorful it is too. Anybody think outlast is a good purchase.

Outlast is OK. They have the foundation for a really good horror game - great atmosphere, great setting, great graphics, creepy enemies, etc, etc, but they fail to really build on it. The gameplay and puzzles are extremely thoughtless and repetitive. But overall I thought it was decent. Worth looking into if you're a horror fan.
