You can get a demo on the developer's website, but if you like flight sims, $12.49 isn't a bad price. Looks pretty good, and it feels like you are actually flying at times.

However, you only get a small selection of planes (although they are all in the game - hundreds of dollars of DLC), which annoys the hell out of me.

Yeah I was noticing that. Looks like the steam version is the way to go though as from what I've read it also gives the mods with the plan packages lowering the cost a bit, even more if you get them on sale like this.

I would buy Lego Lord of the Rings is it had non-local co-op. I'd play that with my cousin for sure, and maybe with my little brothers next week.

I also had it in my head that I'd buy AC IV if it went on-sale, but now that it is...$45 is still too much, considering I haven't even played Brotherhood, Revelations, or III yet (have Brotherhood and Revelations on 360, just can't bother to play them).

I'd maybe have bought Black Ops II (which I have on 360) if it was 75% off, just to play it with my dad on PC, but it's not worth it for $30.

Finally, I voted for Civ V over The Stanley Parable, simple because The Stanley Parable was already discounted more than that earlier, so I can't convince myself I'd buy it for $10 when it was a bit less earlier. However, I have no strategy game to play, so I'd maybe get Civ V to fill that void.

Today looks like a bunch of "if it was a LIIIIITTLE better" deals. Just have to make the Dark Souls purchase official.

Crazy that Steam has had pretty lackluster sales, considering GMG and Amazon have beaten their prices on all big-name titles.

Assassin's Creed Brotherhood and Revelations are also now both at 75% off, which makes them $7.49 each for their Deluxe versions. I had been waiting for this price point on Steam (I think they've been this price on UPlay before) so I can finally continue Ezio's story.

Yeah, what I've started thinking with newer games is that I will look into them for the Summer Sale in 2014. I have a Wishlist with 28 games on it right now, most of which are older titles I've wanted to play but never had the time to. So, I think I am going to load up on the older stuff (grabbed all 3 Max Payne and Deus Ex games, and want to grab all of the Doom games, among other stuff), then play through those titles. I'll then look at newer stuff like Assassin's Creed IV later on--maybe I'll have at least TRIED Brotherhood by then.

Yea, you need to have both running, and I'm pretty sure the game downloads through UPlay rather than Steam. It's a bit of a nuisance and there can be issues sometimes (I haven't had any) but it's really not the worst thing in the world despite some protests.

I like having all my game licenses through Steam, even if another layer of DRM is required.

The only LEGO game I do not like, but I absolutely hated the movies, so that might have something to do with it.

Instead of the normal setup of entering levels from a hideout or central location, they are all spread out over a map like a RPG, and imo the levels stink compared to something like Batman, Indiana Jones, or Harry Potter LEGO games.

Good to know. I'm pretty sure that puts Ubisoft close to EA territory for me, then. I'll be buying a grand total of 0 Ubisoft games on PC from now on. I don't buy ANYTHING from EA on any platform, but I'll probably just settle for buying Ubisoft games exclusively on Xbox (be it the 360 or One).

That really sucks, because I hate having to go through multiple channels and profiles to play games, it's a pain in the butt. The Division might make me change my mind though, because I'm not sold on an Xbox One yet, and that looks like the best game of 2014.

G+K and BNW are vast improvements over vanilla. They make CivV what it should have been from release. IMO, of course.

Unfortunately, none of the Lego games that I know of have non-local co-op. I don't see why they can't/won't add internet multiplayer to the games.
