Game itself is around 11 hours or so I think, but there is a large community of mods/additional dungeons for it (not that I've tried any). And yes, it's a great game.

Anyone play Super Meat Boy?

The premise always turned me off, but I picked up the Binding of Isaac for $2, and that has far stranger stuff... and I spent 60 hours on it so far.

So is Super Meat Boy good? I generally dislike jump-puzzles, and it seems that is the entire game from the videos.

It's all jumping...aka Mario Brothers etc. You have to have good hand eye coordination as some of the later levels get HARD. Amazing game though, and a steal at that price. Anyone who even remotely likes platformers it's a must buy.

Youtube videos will show you exactly what kind of game you're getting into.

Well I just bought Darksiders II along with three DLCs for it, and also bought the Season Pass for Borderlands 2 which should help convince myself to complete my second playthrough. Well, I had the intention to complete it anyway at some point, but the new content will make that second playthrough feel new again to some degree. I just haven't touched the game in a while and I have yet to max out my Siren and didn't even touch my seven keys yet.

I can't wait to finally play Darksiders II though, I completed the original (PC version, on Steam that is) recently and it was a blast, the sequel got rave reviews almost everywhere I looked and the few videos I've seen of it (few, to avoid spoilers as much as I could) lead me to believe that it just looks to be in the veins of Zelda and Devil May Cry (again), an epic adventure filled with action. In fact the original already reminded me a bit of Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver (more hectic though) mixed in with some Zelda puzzle solving style and I loved it.

I almost purchased The Walking Dead as well... not sure yet (in fact in was in my Cart for a moment). However, I've seen so many videos of it on YouTube that I pretty much "completed" the first season already (I unfortunately spoiled it that much but hey, I was intrigued and the guy playing commented well as he went through it for his first time as well, was kinda entertaining, and free). It looks interesting enough I guess. I'm still considering it right now, but I feel it'd just be a purchase out of curiosity rather than actual interest. I'll see... not saying no, but highly hesitant.

And also considering The Binding of Isaac, Legend of Grimrock, Don't Starve, XCOM Enemy Unknown and perhaps Bioshock Infinite.

Binding of Isaac is one of the best games I've played this decade. It is Legend of Zelda warped, and is challenging and fun. Why I'm even considering Super Meat Boy.

Loved Grimrock also, but thought Bioshock Infinite was the weakest by far of all the 'shock' titles.

It'll probably pop back to 75% off before the end of the sale either as a daily deal or once more around as a flash deal.

Dunno about the DLC, but the game itself was a bit like a generic GTA made in China. It had more kung-fu, but only if you had your enemy near an 'instant kung-fu death spot'.

Batman AA/AC has the best fighting available you will see this decade. Sleeping Dogs is more of a contextual button presser... you won't pull off punches that you link into a deadly kill move; you'll hope you can grab your enemy by a spot that lets you instant-kill them via predefined scripted kill-spots.

It is pretty good, but I would never call it a great game.
