I actually prefer GOG cuz theres no DRM and you can just download one big install file and use it as you like.
But their selection is shit by comparison. They have some nice older stuff I like but for the most part its meh.
If they could get Elvira 2 or Stone Prophet I'd be very happy.
Fallen enchantress had been on sale with all other stardock stuff, just a small bump from 50 to 66% as a daily item.
I enjoy it but it has issues. I personally play for the minecraft aspect but with combat versus other people so in that regards it is fun. I tend to destroy everything I can as a miner and don't even actively search out other people lol.
That being said, it has balance issues between the classes. 90% of the people play as a sniper because the rifle 1 hit kills you. The player base has gotten pretty small and there is usually a few servers up but only a few that have a lot of people in them.
It is a fun game for what it is though and if you don't take it seriously and just play to screw around and have fun it is fun. Some of the maps are really cool and look great imo.
I bought it during the holiday sale for $5 and got my money's worth from it. It is hard to recommend or not recommend it.
How do you seem to have knowledge about every game ever made?
Yes, but Fallen Enchantress: Legendary Heroes (which is a different game) has only been at 25% until now.
I'm looking at the website right now but how is this game played? Is it like a fantasy RTS? I'm seeing that it says 4x strategy, so is it like Civ where you play over a timeline?
man... nothing i want for the past 2 days. sales, get better!
Fallen Enchantress looks good, but i dont want to pay that much for something i wont have a chance to play very often.
I was playing Dead Island Riptide and got my first foil card drop today. Listed it for $4.00 and it sold within minutes.
There wasn't any sales history yet so I wasn't sure how high I could price it.

You should have listed it for much higher and slowly brought it down. You lost out there.

Yea, I agree but I wanted a quick sale before more listings started showing up.
Other games' foil cards have gone as low as a $1. I think $4 was a good compromise.
Shows 85% ($.300) if it wins for me. I voted for Bastion even though it's been on sale 100 times before...I'm finally ready to give it a spin.

Yeah, it is a fantasy version of Civ basically but with much deeper combat and unit creation/customization and with quests.
Basically you take your armies that are led by heroes around the map and make settlements and build/expand cities and do research to unlock various things. Your heroes can come across quests to do as well as combat various monsters/enemies. Combat goes to another screen and is turn based based on each individual unit.
You can customize and create your own unit types as you unlock various things from research as well and can upgrade older units to the newer stuff if you wish.
Your heroes in this one have their own talent/stat tree.
Very good game if you like this genre of stuff. I've sunken many hours into the original Fallen Enchantress and will with heroes as well (just started playing it recently).
How many times has L4D2 been on sale this Summer Sale?
I think it's been every other day.......
