Sorry! I just had to rave about it for a second. I'm completely jovial right now. This game is hilariously fun.

I also recommend playing it with a gamepad. I'm not sure what the keyboard controls are like, but as with any other driving/racing game, having analog controls is a must.

I also just discovered that there's not only motorcycling involved in the game, but there's also trick-skiing as well.... skiing downhill on dirt trails. Flying off of a boulder while wearing skis, doing 5 different backflips in mid-air, and face-planting into a house is way more comedic and addictive than it should be.

Don't worry about me. I'm content.

I've never heard of that Trials game before...but it looks like a blast.

Ended up grabbing it....sigh...I'm usually really good in these Steam sales, but this time I've been buying left and right.

I came to this thread after I got it. That's the only game I nabbed that wasn't a daily deal or a community vote... oh well.

I only get games during the summer/winter sales, the last game I paid full retail for was GTA4 back in 2008 so I suppose $6 is alright.

It came out before W7 was out iirc. It runs fine for pretty much everyone.

Hmm as much negativity as I've spouted off about this game, it might come as a surprise that I'm considering getting Fable III! The main thing is that the game may have a really bad story and poor changes in the gameplay mechanics from the predecessors, but the slowdowns on the 360 just make it even worse. Although, you really get hit with a double-whammy of suckage: SecuROM and GFWL.

Well that was a waste of ten bucks :thumbsdown:

Your best bet is to do the following:

1) Sell Dead Island card on the Market for about $0.15-$0.16
2) Click on "Newly Listed".....keep hitting F5 and wait for a card you need to show up (if you're patient, I can guarantee you one will pop up in the $0.10 to $0.15 range within a minute...).
3) When the card shows up quickly click on buy and complete the transaction.


You can also go to a card you need's market screen. However for these summer sale cards, volume is so high I have found it easier to nab a decent deal on the "Newly Listed" screen.....YMMV.

They let you craft a badge, which improves your Steam level. It's not something that really matters, but since they're handing out cards for free, you may as well try to complete a set if you can trade for them.

If there are any Train Simulator fans tip from the forum:

There is nice DLC bundled with the base game in the sale ($10.99).

It's agreat deal if you own the game already to get that DLC by re-buying the game as a gift and then putting it in your libracy and unloading it.

As far as I know this breaks no rules.
