2013 Steam Summer Sale! DEAD

FYI....I don't think the Steam Market is working well at the moment. I've had a Summer Sale card on sale for two housr now at $0.12. I've seen the same card sell for all the way up to $0.17.....my listing simply will not appear in the market.

I love Civ... I bought the gold upgrade yesterday for $5, but I think the cheapest I've seen the stand alone version was $15 (the upgrade version requires having the base game already)

I think I've seen this happen to me too. Removing it from the market and relisting seems to help.

If you like the idea of Trials but hate the corporate influence, maybe you'd prefer Joe Danger? It's cartoony, but it's also a stunt sort of game. It's also been out on other platforms for a while, so you might be able to try it on those before you buy on the PC. It was also a free game for PS+ subscribers.

Any thoughts on Towns? I'm tempted, but I don't know if it's good. Heck, it's technically not even done yet.

Towns is god awful. One of the worst 'games' I have ever played. Just horrific UI and unintuitive game play. It just isn't any fun.

When I did try to buy a card, I was having to try 15 or more times, reload, buy card fast, 'it already sold'. Finaly got one a little more expensive to solve that.

Check the reviews, they're mostly pretty bad.

Amazing - I just checked the market history for that item, and it looks like he resold that hat for $2,100!

You could always offer to buy people games on steam and have them pay you outside Steam, I guess. Not sure if that's allowed but I'd think so.

Good point. I'm sure people would jump on that if you charged less than the going price of the game.

Don't let that stop you, you're not supposed to get a lot of DLC, just a few you want.

It's bundled with a few DLC worth a lot more than that, so it's a great buy at $10.99.

In fact I did what I suggest in my earlier post, re-bought the game to get more DLC.

You can just buy the base game bundle and do fine.

But make sure you want that type of game.

It's a pretty straightforward train simulator, hence the name.

This Sonic Racing looks interesting, would it be good for a 7 (nearly 8) year old? Looks like there's multiplayer support, maybe I should get the 4-pack.
