This Sonic Racing looks interesting, would it be good for a 7 (nearly 8) year old? Looks like there's multiplayer support, maybe I should get the 4-pack.

It's basically the Sega version of Mario Kart, so yes, someone in that age range will have no problem with it.

I was all ready to chalk up Tomb Raider as a bad port, since it kept shutting down my PC, even though a high frame rate.

Then it happened today while I was playing Defense Grid. Took out my 580, unscrewed the cover, and found a 1/2" mat of thick and nasty dust right in front of the air intake for the radiator.

Doh!

Doesn't seem bogus to me. Just Cause 2 is a hugely popular game. They also just started another round of public beta multiplayer testing, so there's lots of people who still want to buy it.

Dunno. I bought it because it looks fun and from what I heard is a pretty decent game.

Watched the video for Strike Suit--looks like it would be fun for a spell then probably gets mindnumbingly repetitive.

Those gameplay videos suggest to me mission after mission of destroy 23 turrets, mine 6 asteroids, bonus! kill 3 x-fighter ships! over and over.

fun for a while, but the same thing over and over and over from map to map. Kinda like those inFamous games for PS3.

...well, that's what I got from the videos. :\


...also, no one answering the StarForge questions. I'm also intrigued, though it looks like no one has any experience. Could possibly be that you are paying for an Alpha version, with the chance to buy the potential release version at half price :\

Best kart racer ever!

Was just playing it a few minutes ago (even though I already own it on PS3):

1) Like it much better on the computer with an XBox controller than with the PS3.

2) Some of the levels are just pure awesome.

3) My 12 year-old came in while I was playing and was jumping around yelling as I was battling for first place. Screamed and hugged me when I came in 1st on a close run. We're going to try Co-op tomorrow.

4) TF2 characters in Sonic Racing, Hell Yeah!

I was also going back and forth on Cybertron. Price is fine, I just have so many other games that I'm going to wait for Thanksgiving or Christmas sale.

Got it today. Great game for $2.50.

Also picked up Dungeons of Dredmor but haven't tried it, yet. It is supposed to be another quality roguelike.
