How did you guys do on badges?

I went from level 10 to level 22 by selling cards high and buying low, in the hopes I'll get more booster packs, and eventually be able to recoup any money spent on cards, to use on games.

I saw a guy on Steam that is level 71. Didn't even think there were enough cards to get that high. Level 1-10 is only 100 exp, but it increases, so from 11-20 it is 200, then 21-30 it is 300 per level, so this guy has over 26,000 experience.

Yesterday or the day before I linked to someones profile and there were level 112 iirc.

I'm 28 myself, close to 29.

Spent about $6 buying all FTL foil cards to make the Fleet Admiral foil. Sold a Serious Sam booster pack and Raz emoticon to craft level 5 Summer getaway badge. Took $20 I was gonna spend on Bioshock Infinite or Skyrim and bought 146 extra Summer getaway trading cards.

I feel the same way.

The steam sale came to an end, there were only 2 games that I wanted, and I did not buy either one of them.

Maybe there will be better sales during the fall our holiday sale.

haha, Summer Cards are starting to creep up in price. Most were $0.15 during the sale and now I'm seeing $.20-$.25 a card. Wonder how high it will eventually hit.

Foil summer cards are double what they were from the other day. I bought the entire set of foil for about $1.50 each and plan to resell them in the future.

I also went from level 9 to level 16.

And I ended up with $17+ in my Steam wallet. All told, I didn't spend a single cent of my own money on the Summer Sale....but I spent way too many hours buying/selling trading cards to fund it all.
