Today's deals suck...even the votes suck. None of the daily deals are over 50% off and the vote choices suck too....all of those games have gone for less. Civ 5 regular edition for $20? That's a ripoff when I bought it for less than $10 a year ago, lol. Same with SimCity4...it's sold for a few dollars before.

Civ5 pricing has to be an error since it is already selling for less than that on Steam, lol.

I'm tempted by Devil May Cry 3 and 4 simply because they're games that have never had a decent sale price, but $5 each still seems a bit much for such old games, even if it is the lowest they've ever been.

Ah so why does everyone bombard Steam right at the cutoff time to see the new deals if it's all jacked up still for awhile, lol. You'd think they would have this process a little more ironed out by now.

yea, that's what I'm holding off on too. $15 is what I'm waiting for. Already picked up Sins so I'm good till the winter sale if I just want to play my backlog.

It's jacked up because everyone bombards it. And one of the reasons they do is because a couple times they overdiscounted something that only early buyers got.

I thought Skyrim was worth it at 60 bucks! IMO even at the current price (15$), it's a great game which will give you tons of play time. Think about it this way: if you like RPGs you will easily sink 60+ hours into it.....You don't really need the DLC's, although Dragonborn is very good.

Although it could very well end up cheaper as a daily deal...who knows.

I thought Skyrim was worth it at 60 bucks! IMO even at the current price (15$), it's a great game which will give you tons of play time. Think about it this way: if you like RPGs you will easily sink 60+ hours into it.....You don't really need the DLC's, although Dragonborn is very good.

Although it could very well end up cheaper as a daily deal...who knows.

Skyrim is $21, not $15.

My thought.. Decent deal, but I already have a metric fvckton of games to play.. My plan = hold out for winter sale + hopefully get the legendary edition for under $10

Well, it was for me. Got it on the first flash deal of the sale. I think I was 25 minutes into the game, then I bought another 4 games and got distracted. I think I'm done buying for now, unless something really good pops up again.

Any other ideas to watch for deals on ? Currently, they play Minecraft almost exclusively .. Trying to expand their horizons a bit

I'm waiting for $10 on base Skyrim. I couldn't get into Oblivion, so I don't feel like wasting more than that if I hate Skyrim.

If they like Minecraft, they will probably love Terraria. Reus also struck me as a good game for young players.

I paid full price, and Mark of the Ninja was worth it. Great stealth platformer.
